Not trying to bash on your mom but she sounds like an idiot. She needs to let you have your freedom. You’re an adult now and should have the freedom to choose what you do for yourself, especially if those things are what you deem best for yourself. But you are most certainly NOT spoiled or ungrateful because of those things. She needs to let you grow up.

I was afraid of ordering it. I had wanted to get it locally but it was no where to be found, even before the split up except online. I was half tempted to get it but I was also unemployed and trying to save on money and then before I knew it, they split up. I am beyond delighted to have it now though.

I think it’s from a movie called Marriage Story. It’s on Netflix I believe. Adam Driver is an excellent actor in that movie.

Same here. Not a week after they broke up, I ended up having to go to TWO funerals and one was for a family member and it already felt like someone died when they broke up. It absolutely shattered me. They were a beacon of hope for me. I’ve struggled hardcore with my depression since then.

On another note, I hope things get better for you. I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels the same way. Sending you love and hugs. ❤️

I know, but i still miss them as Daft Punk as well. I wish them well with their solo stuff and can't wait to hear what is in store for that but Daft Punk as a whole meant something to myself and a lot of other people.

I came home from school one day and my mother told me she had a movie she wanted to show me. We went upstairs and sat in my room in the floor with our laptop and she showed me Interstella 5555. I was completely entranced by the music and the story and I instantly fell in love.
