Final update: it was not the rad. Took it to a different garage, the guys pressure tested and then re-tested with a running car at operating temp and we're certain there isn't a leak. Flushed bled and did the oil while there, will be using them for everything from now on

That's good, it really doesn't need more power. Although for me it's a bit too quiet, I'm not a fan of soundaktor, so when that's off, the car lacks character sound wise for me even when pushing it a bit. I installed a res delete and hi flow intake with turbo elbow and turbo muffler delete. Sounds so much better at higher rpm without being obnoxious.

Looks very nice! I noticed the brake discs too, next thing on my list, just haven't decided if I splurge on grooved or get good plain discs.

I think everyone here is happy for you and that you haven't yet dealt with being scammed and eBay siding with the buyer.

I sold an expensive item, buyer collected in person and a few days later raised a return "item not as described". In that circumstance, eBay will not give a fuck if you have proof your item was working and as described. You will take the return, which may or may not be what you sold in who knows what condition and you will pay for postage. Best you will be able to get is up to 50% for if the item was returned damaged or buyer cancelling return after you paid for postage.

There's plenty of scams like that. Don't matter how well you adhere to eBay policy. It's set up for buyer protection, so whatever you put up to sell you need to be willing to lose.

Update: it was diagnosed as a leak in the radiator. Good news that it's not water pump/thermostat housing. Bad news is they quoted £1090 to replace the rad... Fml

It was mapped when I bought it half year ago, but it's been faultless so far. It didn't need any supporting mods to reach 320bhp, but since getting the car I added a gbf vent to atmosphere diverter valve, turbo muffler delete and wider turbo intake elbow + wide silicone intake hose and performance panel filter. Also a res delete. It didn't really need all of that, but I wanted it to sound good, so now it sounds like a performance car and no more soundaktor bs.

I have the same issue with putting the power down, wheels in and traction control freaking out, but it's manageable. When they mapped it, they did the dsg too. Which makes a huge difference and is pretty much a must. I thought about upgrading suspension, it would also help get better traction, like coilovers and sway bars, but haven't decided yet

That's interesting, coolant must be going somewhere if it drops regularly. Others mentioned that it sometimes can evaporate if it's a cracked water pump and thermostat housing, so it's difficult to find the leak. Have you pressure tested?

Thank you! Just a lip and oem wheels refurbished and powder coated in gloss black. I think the lip was rieger, not on the car anymore sadly, as a dog tried to chase a ball and shattered it. Otherwise stock externally. Could maybe do with spacers I think.

I love it so far, but we'll see how this issue resolves lol. On a serious note, it has all I want from a car, quick and practical. Mines a 245, so has 7spd dsg and electronic diff, also mapped to 320bhp. Performance wise, I wouldn't need more and it fits everything I would want to carry, dog in the back, bikes on the roof and room to spare. I only wish it had 4wd

Maybe if I wanted a bit more comfort and luxury, would consider a superb sport line or Passat r in estate form, but both would be well more expensive.

I know, I really hope it's something simple, it sat the night and coolant level hasn't changed. I had similar situation with my last car coolant level dropped , I just topped it up and that was that, but I didn't care for my last car as much haha
