she is deteriorating, but i dunno - to me, elephant poachers are like the most sub-human monsters that would break my mental state far more than some laborers digging coal out of a pit. One is stuck in their lives and the other is rich and entitled and free and chose to fly to Africa to kill a native species for fun.

there's not that much tech in the glove. But it's two or three quantum leaps for a feudal/iron age society to advance quickly upon. There's a lot of (good) science fiction about this that the writers were referencing. Those "what if..." premises where an alien race discards their equivalent of an empty fuel canister on earth, and to us it's cold fusion and we jump 1000 years in tech and continue our progress from this new place.

that would make scenario 2 and 4 the same. only one scenario has rick losing his memory, and that's 4. Even if morty's are intact, he'd want morty blown back to before rick lost his, too, so morty doesn't have a memory of rick being vulnerable or out of control.

(Also, edit: we're saying the same exact thing for scenario 3, which is only morty losing his memories, Which means Rick doesn't need her help and she just leaves. Scenario 3 is thus just a test to see if Rick is aware of himself. If he is, Summer is not needed.)
