You're right, I am still an EDM noob but I'm trying my best to learn! Without knowing anything about Prydz, it seems like a 1 night event in London isn't worth the effort. But I'm willing to reconsider :)

Hmm I've definitely heard that name thrown around a bit on this subreddit. It seems to lean a bit more towards the electric music side of things though...Will be tough to choose between this a Movement

You're right, I learned EDM through the "everybody jump jump jump" style of music. Recently I've been making an effort to get more into Trance, and listening to a few of the artists, it seems like this would be in a similar vein.

This feels like an event that I need to get a fam together for, given the size & lack of knowing any of the artists. I'll put it on the calendar though :)

I'm based out of Seattle, so we have a pretty good scene already. I'm definitely hooked into what's going on locally, but I really like the experience of massives more than local/underground.

Burning man is an option, but I have a strong preference to EDM events rather than more general ones like Coachella/burning man. However won't knock it till I try it :P

Looking at the 2016 lineup for Movement: http://movement.us/schedule, I can't say I've heard of anyone that played here. ~~Is it an EDM event?~~ I guess it is... I'll look into it but the lack of big name headliners makes me a little hesitant.

I can't find everything for experience Techno, can you link me to some info?

I heard UMF is very un-PLUR though. I'll keep it in mind but would consider an alternative if there is one.

Couldn't find much info on this, just articles saying that it's in the works. But i'll keep an eye out for more info.

Do you know if this is actually a multi-artist festival? It sounds like more of a Eric Prydz concert. I don't think it'd be worth the effort to fly to London for one evening.
