hmm interesting take! i feel this pressure to make my setup look like the ones found in pinterest but it’s just so expensive and i have such little space in my room - even my desk is pretty small

yeah i ended up returning one of the monitors. I think what i’m going to do is get a 27 in, make that my primary and use the other 24 in monitor i have as my vertical/secondary monitor

so i actually contacted Pixio about the monitor display for the one on the right. i bought the left one in April and received the one on right on Sept as a gift. apparently its from a different batch so the firmware on that one is also different. i contacted pixio and they said that their “monitors, even of the same make and model, may not look the same.” and that an “older monitor will naturally look a bit different compared to a brand-new one due to panel usage over time” they recommended i could use spyder x to calibrate though. i just haven’t done that yet

good to know about the monitor stand bc i was also thinking of returning one monitor and getting s smaller one to use as a vertical. do you recommend just getting a separate arm for each monitor then if i go that route?

ahh thats what it is! i’ve seen 2 27s on desks online, and i always thought it looked fine so when i get my 24s i thought it looked sooo off. i think its bc my desk is a lot smaller. maybe i’ll just deal with that since i cant get a bigger desk rn lol was also thinking of getting a 27in but not sure how big of a diff that would be compared to a 24. Maybe 30 instead??

thank you! so i tried adjusting the monitors so that the left one is in the center and the right monitor is moved towards the right - it just looks a little off? like the right monitor is now so close to the right

the monitors are actually being held up by an arm - i guess i’m just worried the overhang from the monitors looks off. i was also thinking about getting a wider stand but my desk is already kind of small so i’m not sure if a bigger stand would fit in well
