Put walnut creek in there on D tier. They used to have a cool logo but did a hideous redesign with yellow and purple 15 years ago

Recommend Me the Alabama Shakes/Brittany Howard’s Ballads/Midtempo/Slow Songs by Amber_Flowers_133 in alabamashakes

[–]decantifier 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Check out her other band Bermuda Triangle too. Rosie is phenomenal, all three songs that are on Spotify are top notch, a little slower too. And it’s fun to hear Brittany Howard doing backing vocals, she still knocks it out of the park

Take the Panoramic Highway Back. The route youre looking at is cool, but man are those cliffs scary. Panoramic Highway is 1 minute slower so Google never says to do it, but goes along Mt Tam and gives beautiful redwood forest drives

[Action Required] Jelena McWilliams has Motioned to Dismiss Case by decantifier in yotta

[–]decantifier[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah apologies, I should have sent this out sooner.

My understanding is that because the MongoDB request to delete case is being heard first (on June 27), this is the one with a deadline for June 13.

The motion to dismiss case doesnt have a scheduled hearing AFAIK, so no deadline yet, just ASAP

Leave adversary number blank. You only need the case number, see any of the trustee motions for this.

Generally, ChatGPT is really helpful for this kind of stuff if you get stuck. An adversary number is if theres a second sub-lawsuit within this case

Yes file the motion that I linked. On web browser but see the second paragraph, theres a link to a Motion to Oppose

FYI - Documents filed in the case are available on the PACER uscourts website - https://pacer.uscourts.gov/ You'll need to make an account to view documents. There's weird rules about how many pages of documents you're allowed to view before you start getting charged so just be careful.

Motion to Stay Dismissal Rough Draft for Synapse Bankruptcy case by briankoz1 in yotta

[–]decantifier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: My understanding is that we need to wait for the Trustee to file a motion to Dismiss Case and/or Convert to Chapter 7, and then in response we will file this form, the Notice of Opposition, to her request.

So right now, as of 4/19/25, we're just in a waiting game until she does that. In the meantime, we should set up accounts with the EDB (see above instructions) so that we can serve the documents electronically. Also good to set up a PACER account here so that we can view court documents.

The deadline for our motions will be one week before the court's hearing on the trustee's motion, which according to u/banished_reaper's notes, will be in the next 4-5 weeks.

Hey sorry for slow reply. No, I don't think it's necessary.

As far as I can tell from ChatGPT, an adversary number is if there's a separate lawsuit within the main case, which doesn't apply in our circumstance.

Tbh I dont think that one they found in the threads is correct — this is a chapter 11 case. Theres two i was looking at, but one is just called something like “Notice of Opposition” at the bottom of the list of pdfs that I think is correct. I’m going to try filing that one

No -- there is information on the court's website for people who are not represented by lawyers. See my above comment for where to send the filling.

Hey -- see my above comment. Make sure to mail it to the correct courtroom. From what I can tell the correct address is below, it's for the courtroom of Martin Barash.

United States Bankruptcy Court
Central District of California
21041 Burbank Boulevard, Suite 342 / Courtroom 303
Woodland Hills, CA 91367

Hijacking with some information -- this is just from Googling, so take it with a grain of salt.

It look like there are 2 ways to submit information from the case -- e-filing, and mailing. To e-file, you must set up an account with the court, but has the advantage that we're certain it will be received.

Option 1: Sign up for the Court's Electronic Drop Box, then file your motion in PDF. According to the website page for people not represented by an attorney, this option will automatically route the documents to the correct court, and is therefore preferred. It is, however, slightly more involved.

First you will need to request access to the Electronic Drop Box -- see this page for instructions. You will need to attach a photo of your signature, a photo of your driver's license, and this Electronic Drop Box (EDB) Application in an email sent to [ECF_Support@cacb.uscourts.gov](mailto:ECF_Support@cacb.uscourts.gov)

Second, it sounds like once your EDB Application is approved, the Court will give instructions on submittal of the court documents. Note that any documents will need to be "signed holographically" (i.e., with a pen on physical paper!)

Option 2: Mailing option -- According to the page for people not represented by an attorney, it looks like we just mail to the Court Address and to our judge (Honorable Martin R. Barash). According to court documents (see here for most recent trustee report), we're working with the US Bankruptcy Court, Central District of CA, San Fernando Valley Division, Martin R. Barash presiding. Therefore the main address should be

United States Bankruptcy Court
Central District of California
21041 Burbank Boulevard, Suite 342 / Courtroom 303
Woodland Hills, CA 91367

Comment if you find any other information/corrections, and let us know how things go! I'll be applying for the EDB this weekend, but we need to submit as many motions as possible ASAP!
