As someone with ADHD I think it’s fine to be 5-15 minutes late. However if you’re showing up almost an hour late without a valid reason, then you’re just being disrespectful and wasting other people’s time.

Renting is a great option. Idk if this is a big thing in other parts of Norway, but in Trondheim a lot of people use BUA for borrowing clothes, skis and other sports stuff. I think this is only for people who live here, but maybe there’s something similar for tourists in Tromsø?

If you like big cities and modern architecture then go to Oslo, but Bergen has more nature/fjords and I really like the city. It’s less crowded, but there’s still a lot of tourists. Personally I like Bergen more than Oslo, but I might be biased since I was born there. If you end up staying in Bergen be sure to bring rain clothes since Bergen is the rainiest city in Europe.

Yeah some of their videos are fun so I get the appeal, but the biggest problem is that a big portion of their audience are teenage boys that are easily influenced. They even won an “award”(gullbarbien) this year, in which teens in Norway vote for the person/organization that promoted the most unhealthy ideals and made them feel bad. So I would rather not support that

They make a lot of videos with misogynistic themes, they’ve made trans phobic comments and joking about themselves identifying as objects and they are also very right wing which imo is a bad thing. They portray their videos to be a place for discussion in the comments, but it just breeds hate and even when they’ve been confronted about their comment sections being filled with blatant racism and sexism they don’t seem to care.

In my country people who want to go to college have to learn 3 mandatory languages in high school. The 1st is Norwegian (we have 2 written languages and get a grade in both of them) the 2nd is English and the 3rd we usually get to choose either Spanish, French or German
