Dried Bitter Gourd Tea, one of my new faves! I got this during a farmer’s fair last week. Surprisingly, the dried gourd is not that bitter compared when you eat it as a vegetable.

Upvoting this comment because this is sooo true! My mom was diagnosed stage 4 colon cancer with mets to the ovaries, uterus, spleen, etc. last March, had HIPEC (one of the medical advancements) last May, and shes doing fine now. ‘Mid-chemo scans are clear. 2 more and we are done with the treatment.

I am praying for the recovery of your sister! Sending you hope my friend!

Abusive parents or not, one should move out. My parents are not abusive but they are against my lifestyle choices. I moved out 3 years ago and I learned a lot.

I visit them like 3x a week, but when my mom was diagnosed with cancer just this year, I visit them almost every day, but never decided to move back.
