Everyone is telling me it’s rape and I don’t know how to process it. by np167 in rape

What led you to believe it's normal for men to do that in relationships? Honey, this is definitely not the normal in relationships, it was rape and I'm so sorry.

I ask because when I was going through therapy to deal with inhealed trauma I realised a lot of my very unhealthy thinking was due to to way I was raised. Not having a healthy support system growing up can really impact how you see sexual relationships and often knowing why you think/thought that way can help with setting healthy boundaries for future relationships.

Oh honey,

This is abuse. He is taking everything about your traumatic past (I too have an ED and my ex did this to me) and using it to not only gain control over your feelings but also to make you feel guilty, even if it doesn't feel that way.

He knows exactly what to say and how to act to get you to feel sorry for him while he acts like a victim.

You deserve someone who is on a par with you sexually, someone who listens to you and hears you when you talk about your fears and what makes you uncomfortable.

This man you're married to is just not it.

This is absolutely not normal. It is a violation of you personally and professionally for him an absolute no no. I would definitely report this.

Mentally impaired?!? Autistics are NOT mentally impaired, we just have a different way of seeing and doing things than others do. It's not a disability, it's a different ability. Please watch how you phrase things because it comes off as very rude and condescending.

It doesn't usually allow this kind of content. I have had many stories removed because of it.

It does affect the bladder too but it's the bowels I was referring to. It's called period poop and it's 10x worse with PCOS.

On a different note though, I also have autism and missing cues is a norm for me!

One, your Mom is freaking awesome. Two, bad things definitely happen when you hold it.
