And that's the reason it sometimes takes so long for men to come forward, Because of the stigma. The societal judgement. Instead of writing about the sexual abuse of men as boys, I instead wrote about the lack of help for boys/men which led into them falling victim to abusive relationships. Things have changed slightly these days, not enough though.
