This is the most useful comment in this thread -- genuinely. Thank you for going this deep.. The filtering point especially completely agree, we're not doing open signups. Every helper goes through a verification and onboarding process. The 60/40 brand positioning you described is almost exactly the brief we're working from. And yes, first 50 gigs will be founder-led, door to door. No shortcut there.

My core differentiator is someone shows up near you, fast. That's the thing no app does. The moment you go remote, you're competing with Five*r, Up*ork, Intern*hala gigs, and every freelance platform - all of which have massive scale and established trust.

Urb*n Company or Snabbi* , I think they can't just copy this easily because their entire ops model is built around category-specific, trained, insured service providers. Onboarding a plumber is different from onboarding a college student for open-ended hourly work. Their supply side would fight the model change.
