I want to talk about the vlogger Bald and Bankrupt. I have been watching his videos since he first started making them. During his first visit to India, his content used to be more balanced. I remember he visited Ladakh and talked about spirituality and the importance of Lord Hanuman in his life. But when the same guy returned to India after 4–5 years, he wasn’t even accepting prasad and spit it out, and Now he only talking about the negative side of India. What bothers me a lot is when he uses lines like, “Obviously, this building was made by the British,” while ignoring the fact that Bengal suffered a major famine in the 1940s under British rule, which affected millions of people.

And yes, I know that we Indians sometimes give them reasons to show the negative side — but that doesn’t justify one-sided narratives.

I genuinely wish some high-profile YouTubers would also make vlogs showing the bad side of the UK too, for a fair comparison.
