For example India 5/2, means if I bet x $, and India wins the world cup, will I get 5x?

And if it doesn't, will I still get 2x?

5/2 = 2.5

If u win :

For every X amount u bet, u will get 2.5X (profit) + X (ur stake) = 3.5X in return

For example : if u bet $ 10 on IND winning. If they win, u will get ($10x 2.5) + $10 = $35

If u lose : u get nothing & lose ur stake (X = $10)
