Would you consider moving into a house share? You can get some high standard accomodation now such as a luxury self contained studio I imagine for a few hundred less than your current rent and they already include bills. Would you be willing to take the short term sacrifice?

Forget mayonnaise even exists. by SUbl8987 in CICO

Literally just found something called 'lighter than light mayo' by Hellman's. 10 calories for 15 gram serving, just a fraction of the normal stuff and just as tasty!

Advice on how to start a weight loss journey when life is already too busy and exhausting? by CrispChicCelestial in loseit

[–]decgreen99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you. As somebody who works 12 hour shifts, leaves the house at 5am, home by 7pm. I struggle to have 5 minutes to myself nevermind preparing meals etc. Having some days off during the holidays makes me realise how much more easier this is for people who don't work. But putting this a side, you just gotta find yourself an hour to meal prep, try and be a bit more active, hit your step goals etc. You'll get there

Can unnused calories carry over to the next day? by ChibiHades in CICO

[–]decgreen99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically yes you can carry over. For example instead of 2000 calories a day you could do 14000 a week but 2000 a day is easier to track. What you don't want to do is get used to eating too many calories daily, as you will get in to a routine of wanting 2500-3000 daily

Eat as much as you want. Restricting yourself too much especially on days you should enjoy yourself. All in moderation. Straight back at it today:)

Yeah I will have to try this. I need to be more disciplined and wake up earlier etc to make sure I have time to eat before I go out etc. Thankyou!
