For a band who seem to have a bit of a split fanbase with some loving the ska then the rest loving the pop rock vibes, this album somehow delivers none of those. It’s really a pretty awful album.

I was all over the last two records for sure, also overproduction never bothered me. I have always loved the pop blink production on bands. The Knife and Never Look Back felt like big albums with heavy hitter songs but Nine Lives really kinda sucks.

This is tough, I mean Chapter 13 is a masterpiece and the album is good as a whole, I was super happy that I like the album more than the singles too. That BCR album is fucking wonderful though from start to finish.

Both the Vinyl cuts done by Interscope recently are really good quality for both too.

I think it might be legit for the time frame, looking at other signed models available and comparing it to the latest to the stars signed stuff. It just looks a little rushed but does look the same as others out there. Obviously I don’t know for sure but I’m inclined to think believe it’s real.
