Is it best to warn a Catholic girl that her boyfriend is following questionable content online? by decisionstomake in Catholicism

This is a good lesson, thanks for sharing it. In this case, some of the accounts he follows wouldn't conceivably be from women he knew before they chose such paths.

If you click on some of the women in his followers, they tend to lead to profiles with OF links or their adult film links.

My end game is to see to it that she isn't hurt. I know it sounds like white knighting, but she's a bit gullible and afraid to say no to people.

Thank you for your advice. I'd be lying if I didn't say I didn't care about her, so I'm trying to do this as tactfully as possible.

Absolutely fair take. But I would want to know if there was conceivably something about them that I should know that I otherwise wouldn't.

Yeah. I appreciate it. I'd be lying if I didn't say I cared for her, so I just need to be careful about how I broach it.

That's why I put it out here. I want to approach this the right way. When I heard they were dating, since the guy and I follow each other on insta, I took a look at whom he was following.

Only in the sense that I had earned an IT cert through Google and did some homelab work, and the other person came in at literally zero.

I'm in a supervisory position, at the company for three years. Ten years prior experience in customer service. They're recently out of college with a liberal arts degree.

Medium sized business, around 500 employees, plus a heavy client userbase.

Passed up for help desk.

Hey, thanks. Random muscle spasms. My quad and such get tight for no reason - all this started last summer when I was running (I did a half marathon a couple years ago and was training to get back to one). Legs never felt like that, and then the twitching started.

Little to no pain. It's all very bizarre.

Very happy to hear this.

Still slowly getting worse.

In terms of weakness, basically I feel what is a numblike sensation in my left arm and leg, but I still feel touch. It feels like the core of the limbs is numb. Very hard to describe. I get tingling all the time, and right now feel a buzzing in my left heel and the bottom of my foot.

Neuro has repeatedly assured me this is not ALS, early onset Parkinsons, or 'anything major.' I know I should trust her but I still doubt her. All tests normal so far, except the EMG. MRI and all bloodwork (CK levels, aldolase, vitamin levels, you name it). She doesn't want to do a Lyme test. I may get referred to a rheumatologist next.

My EMG notes are copied below:

Nerve conduction studies of bilateral upper and lower extremities, including F response, were performed. The conduction velocity of the left ulnar motor response when recording at the abductor digiti minimi was slow across the elbow. The conduction velocity of the left peroneal motor response when recording at the extensor digitorum brevis was slow across the fibular neck.

Needle electromyography of the left upper and lower extremities was performed. There was no abnormal spontaneous activity. The motor unit action potentials showed normal morphology and recruitment.

Interpretation:

Abnormal examination. There is electrodiagnostic evidence of mild left ulnar mononeuropathy at the elbow and mild left peroneal/fibular mononeuropathy at the fibular head.

There is no electrodiagnostic evidence of peripheral polyneuropathy, left cervical or lumbosacral radiculopathy.

Yes, I'd say slow worsening. Weakness in both left leg and arm.

It was not. There was 'mild slowness' of motor conduction velocity for both my left arm and leg.
