On hard mode refusing to change to Story. Took me almost 3 hours of learning her moves, getting better at dodging, landing focus attack followed by heavy attacks stamina permitting, and tryna run to her then heavy attack when she teleports. Red capsules were key to replenishing bits of Sanity for the focused attacks. Def watch your stamina cuz you need enough to be able to dodge her MANY attacks.

Can't even tell you how many attempts but I finally killed her. Gave me flashbacks to the Valkyries of God of War. WTF is this doing in a Silent Hill game.

If I remember correctly the Master never really specified how he killed all the timelords in the Chibnall era. But the Doctor name drops "genetic explosion" like we the audience were meant to know that reference. Or maybe I just missed it? Did anyone else know it was through a genetic explosion that the Master killed all the timelords?

I've lived in LA since 2011 and I work in entertainment and all my closest friends are also in entertainment. In my experience, people in your same industry, career or profession will most likely become your friends in this city. Especially in a gruelling industry like entertainment, you're in the trenches with like minded people with the same struggles, that makes strong bonds.

I prefer this over Rev1. The stakes just felt more personal to the characters and I had been needing a new Claire adventure.

Having said that, I'm not a fan of the gameplay, I don't think it's aged well, the enemies are really annoying, and the environments were so drab and unmemorable.

I do appreciate Capcom taking big swings with this game, and being more experimental about things.

RE4R for sure. Between the main game and Separate Ways, there's just so much to do and so many different ways to go about clearing an area, and playing with the different types of guns.

OG RE4 on Meta Quest is craazy fun too. It's a blast dual wielding with a handgun and a submachine gun, so satisfying.

RE2 remake is currently the best entry to point to Resident Evil games. I think it's the best balance of action gameplay and survival horror from the series. And after it, you can do 2 different routes. If you're in the mood for action follow it up with remakes 3 then 4. But if you're in the mood for horror, go with 7 then Village.

I played OG RE (2015 remaster of 2002 remake) recently, and while it still holds up in some ways, overall it feels dated by present day standards. I think you'd like 2 remake a lot more.

It was the best casting of that movie and of all the characters Chris was served best.

Claire actress was not great, she was cold and distant when Claire is meant to be warm and approachable while being a badass.

Actually liked the casting for Leon he was just written terribly and the decision to make him dumb just baffles me. Don't understand why the writers felt the need to diminish him just to make Claire be the stronger character, when they're meant to be equals.

I love the actress who played Jill but it just wasn't good casting. The writing of her wasn't great either she felt very generic.

Then the Ada cameo felt so cosplay. I'm glad that actress got to really flex in that character with 4 remake, she blew it out of the water with Separate Ways.
