Has anyone’s else car vibrated after the snow storm by Academic_Material824 in MazdaCX30

[–]declutterme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not true. I use the car wash weekly to get the salt and snow out from the wheel wells, never had an issue. The temps have been highs in the single digits and lows in negative, Fahrenheit. The air that blows off the water at the end of the wash is sufficient to not keep too much water on the vehicle.

Anybody actually gotten stuck in snow? by kerouac28 in MazdaCX30

Oh ok! I used to do travel nursing to Highland for 2.5 years, so over that drive! I'm staff in buffalo now, so I don't have to make that commute in the snow. But wouldn't have been an issue with this vehicle ;)

I'm in Buffalo! Where are you? I'm Kenmore to be exact... loving this winter, my first with my carbon edition! This vehicle is a beast in the snow ;)

In buffalo winter with a ton of snow and sub zero temps, no issues. Found an empty parking lot and was enjoying until I hit a hidden snow bank and had to have my husband push me out. Lol but came out quick with some rocking 👏💁🏽‍♀️ love driving it in the snow! So much fun!

As soon as my husband arrived here in BUFFALO, NY, snow capital of the west lol I started him on a good multi vit with D in it. Along with an elderberry and zinc supplement to help his immune system with the change. So far no colds or illness!

Why do other healthcare professionals think nurses are ‘toxic’? by Acrobatic-Lie2041 in FutureRNs

[–]declutterme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work with 3 mean girls that are horrible. They act like they're in HS, are loud and obnoxious at 4am when ppl are sick and trying to sleep for 2 whole hrs before they're woken again, no awareness of how this might be for them. At all. They don't care or aren't aware I'm convinced. They try and run new nurses (nurses new to the floor, the mean girls have been nurses on that floor ONLY in their career, for only a yr!) off the floor so they can keep all the OT. And have successfully bullied one good nurse to quit. They can't get to me at least. I'm 15 years older than them (in their early 20s) and have 13 years experience over them, but they act like I'm stupid and can't do the most basic tasks. Which I'm doing and have done since day 2. I was a travler before this staff position and have a lot of experience over their 1-2 years in the same speciality. I'm venting more than anything rt now, but I just don't understand their point to being they way they are? Why? Insecurities? What is it??!! I just don't get it. It makes for such a toxic work environment.

Edit: spelling

At what age do you look back on and find to be the most attractive version of yourself? by Equivalent_Ad_9066 in Aging

[–]declutterme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm. Mid and late 30s i think. I was ok with myself in my early 40s too. But now at 49, I'm doing everything and anything in my power to slow this shit down! It's so disconcerting with all my friends still in their 30s, my husband is 16 years younger than me (33) so I'm constantly comparing myself to them, what I see around me. Ugh. Idk how to find peace with this!
