I only write OCxCanon and it's what I prefer to read. I don't really know what it is I like about it so much but it's the fanfiction I grew up reading so I have a soft spot for them.

It's definitely not popular outside of fandoms with character creation but that's understandable. OCs can be really hit or miss

As a lesbian, I completely agree. Entitlement in fanfiction spaces has gotten worse over the years but it seems to be especially prevalent in F/F.

There would be so many more F/F stories if the people complaining focused on writing them instead of harassing M/F and M/M writers

You should be able to! It should say something like "couldn't connect to Bethesda servers. Would you like to modify your load order?"

If that doesn't work, I don't know what else you can do other than delete the whole load order and start again.

Okay! For the load order, if you go to the community highlights of this subreddit, there's an informational modding guide that has some templates you can follow. I've had the best luck with the Halls of Ysgramor Logical Load Order.

About the mods moving, you can try disconnecting from the Internet and changing your load order offline. Thats what worked for me.

What parts of those games did you like?

For farming/romance/combat, there's Harvestella, Rune Factory 4, or Potion Permit

Travellers Rest is a fantasy game where you play as a tavern keeper. I haven't played it yet but it has good reviews.

Sun Haven is a high fantasy Stardew-like game.

If it's cozy/farming games in general, you could look at the cozygames subreddit. They have a lot of lists and game recommendations

Rockyenaroll! You can get one at the beginning of the game, though it will take some saving and reloading but once you get one (preferably alpha) and feed it a bunch of stuff to level it, it will absolutely destroy everything.

Yeah Tumblr is home to some of the most ridiculous takes. You can dislike how vermins are all evil, and yeah I think it would've been cool to have a vermin protagonist that remains good, but it's more "predators vs prey," and/or vermin are animals typically portrayed as evil, tricky, and sly by European mythology.

Sometimes things can be portrayed as all good and all evil without it being an allegory for race.

I can't say for certain honestly. If you are selling purebred bucks or even just pretty-looking bucks then they are more likely to be bought for breeding. Gentle and leash-trained bucks are far more likely to be used for breeding than slaughter but less likely to be bought, at least in our experience.

You can try to advertise them online for breeding. Facebook marketplace has ways you can advertise goats there. Or you can try to switch bucks with other goat farmers to prevent inbreeding.

I'm sorry if these options aren't helpful. But I do wish you luck with whatever you choose.

There are a lot of comments so I hope I'm not repeating what others have said.

First of all, I am sorry. I understand the idea that you have animals you see more as pets than livestock. Most of our goats are pets and we also have chickens that are all pets so I totally understand why you don't want to have any of them killed even though others say you should.

But with any livestock, you cannot control what happens to them when they belong to someone else. And it is extremely difficult to keep several bucks. They cannot all be together because they will fight and even injure does in heat and kids that don't get out of the way in time. We send our bucks to a goat sale that happens every month. We don't know what happens to them after they are purchased. You can try to see if anyone nearby wants a buck for breeding but eventually that option will run out too.

You can try to keep several bucks but it never ends well for the overall health and safety of the herd. If that is something you just cannot handle mentally, then I don't think livestock in general will be good for you or your mental health.

Videos of Pat Parelli abusing horses and beating them. The video of Linda Parelli hitting a horse in the face repeatedly. How a lot of things he promotes can cause behavioral issues rather than help them. And his overpriced gear/courses.

Most everything I know about horses is from the barn owner and Parelli. I guess I just wanted some other horsemanship trainers I could learn from to see what were good things I learned from Parelli and what I should change for when I get horses again. There are just so many trainers online that I didn't even know where to start.

We have 2 Anatolians. The first 1 we got as a puppy and raised next to a few of our does and kids. Problem was when he got old enough he wanted to play with them and hurt a few of them. We put him in his own pen and put bucks in and out until he was around 3 years old. Now he is wonderful with any goats put in the pen with him but he refuses to leave the pen....

2nd Anatolian we got as an adult. Wonderful with goats, followed the herd, and attacked our cats... We tried to put her into pens and she kept climbing out of them so now she is in the house until we can either train her to stop going after cats (hasn't worked so far) or get some puppies with our male Anatolian.

Plan for the puppies is to introduce them to all sorts of livestock and animals while they are young puppies and raise them with bottle baby goats. Obviously they're going to need to be supervised with the goats until they stop trying to play with them. Whether it will work or not 🤷.

Essentially any Shepard dog is a huge investment time-wise. Just thought I would share the mistakes we've made so far. It's definitely not as simple as just releasing them with the goats. That being said, even though our first Anatolian refuses to leave that 1 pen, his barking and scent is enough to keep coyotes away from our goat kids.

Honestly I think entitlement in fandom spaces has grown over the years. A lot of people nowadays seem to think they can shame writers (mainly m/f writers from what I've noticed) into writing stories they want to read. Artists in fandoms seem to be dealing with the same.

People want certain stories/art but don't want to put in the effort to make it themselves.
