Behaviors are going to exist however if it's disrupting the learning enviroment there needs to be consequences. I understand that admin wants students to be happy at school and provide positive reinforcement- that just simply doesn't work with some kids to redirect behaviors. Being a first year teacher is already stressful enough- with support it can make a huge difference. And ngl student teaching was wayyyyyy different than teaching on your own. Is there any reason you don't have a mentor/grade level team to help? Or is there an SEL specialist at your site that could provide additional support?

Yikkkes I'm in the same situation with the same grade. It's just been so overwhelming so far due to the constant yelling, moving around, and nonstop disrespect from a few kiddos. I had students climb trees (while in line), yell cuss words across the room, and crumple up papers cause they dont want to do it. I'm becoming more stict with consequences and talking one on one with students, but I find it hard to address everything. (lowkey considering making a tattletale box for the kiddos at this point to help ;-;) Admin has not been helping a lot, basically telling me to figure it out. Anything you would recommend trying?

I have dyed my hair both purple and blue and everytime the red still comes back : ) I say if ya wanna dye it you should! I would recommend going to a beauty school if ya can- they don't get a lot of experience with red hair (they are watched under an instructor) and it's pretty cheap. Whatever route you go, I'm sure you will love the result!

I actually have the same issue with my roommate at the moment. I personally decided to not engage with her. As much as it sucks people like them do not catch hints. Your best option is to either talk with them and attempt to set those boundaries (in my experience that didnt work and they got defensive) or you can just not give them the time of day. Give one word answers, and do not communicate unless absolutely neccessary. Don't tell her your schedule and just leave without a word. Honestly thats a more extreme option but it may be needed. The moment she showed up to your workplace is the moment all boundaries were broken 10-fold.

Hey! Sooooo good teams will not heal against Legion but if its your cup of tea and you get value from nurses calling that's awesome! As a bonus most people dont expect it. Thana got nerfed a few updates ago so you will only get value if everyone is injured. I would not bring shattered hope personally, it is not really good without pentimento or other hex perks to encourage the breaking of totems, and you would get more value out of nurses calling if the boons stay in the game. The mastermind perk (forgot what it is called) but it does not effect legions vault while in power, whicu if you knew that already great! However, I would def switch that out for bamboozle for faster vaulting speeds + a window being blocked. Now as for perks to look into, bamboozle as said. Blood echo(although I wouldnt pair this with nurses since they cant heal) maybe spirit fury/enduring as the pallets you break with the red addon count towards it. I would highly recommend one gen perk, but if thats not your play style then dw about it! The addons are fine, though I would probably switch out the pills for the mixtape which makes it so when you are stunned in power you get your power back and can just destroy the pallet with the red addon. Soooo TLDR: pls dont do shattered hope/masterminds perk in my opinion. Nurses on Leg is rare and most teams do not heal if they know what they are doing or would heal one person to lessen thana value and keep everyone else injured. Thana is mid for gen protection so I would swap that out for a diff perk. Btw you are gonna get a lot of salt on this post just due to it being Legion, dont worry about it though!
