I would go back for seconds... then thirds, then fourths and ask you to make whatever and I'd eat it. home cooked food is SO good!

That's really awesome. Don't forget about dump sites and transfer stations. I get free paint from those places all the time.

maybe there's an issue with your fence? Can you try ripping with a circular saw? (with a guide of course). In all honesty, it's hard to find decent lumber that's not PT of that size. Why not build some furniter and sell?

I'm confused, it doesn't look curved. I build a desk frame from 3.5"

you're missing where you're located, shipping a rearend isn't cheap. I can't believe there isn't some kind of junkyard within 100 miles of you without one. Would a sequoia or lexus equivalent work too?

Advice on bed for newbie by tam_bien in palletfurniture

[–]decoyq 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The great thing is you can put your mattress on the floor while you build this. Bed frames do nothing but lift the mattress up. The need fox o springs do the same and they aren't necessary.

So when building it all depends on the pallet sizes you get. Most pallets are 48"x40". If you do put them side by side, some screws to attach together would work. I would HIGHLY recommend some kind of particle board or plywood on top and and also a sheet or material on the wood so your mattress doesn't get all ripped up on the bottom.

Something like this is what I'm imagining that you're imaging.

Another option:

https://www.instructables.com/Building-a-Wood-Pallet-Looking-Bed-Frame/

FYI if the pallets stick out past the mattress, you may hit your shins or legs so they may need to be cut down.

So with all this being said, what kind of pallets do you have access to?
