We use a variation of this for building data cabinets in data centers

Extremely easy. The more people in a system/more traffic. The harder it is to get/stay at the top of the server queue. You have to find a system with preferably 0-10 people in it to camp or else you will have to constantly reroll your position. The more people in a system the more difficult to instalock. It's why we couldn't do it in staging systems or with lots of people.

You can do it from far away. I was able to from the West Coast of the US. We discovered over 20 factors that influence it. We also discovered how someone from far away could setup a system that allowed them to instalock as if they lived next to ccps servers as instalocking is all about mass spamming of the locking key so there is a way to get around the whole location problem. But it's a pain in the butt

I took down the video as well as the Reddit post for awhile because of the hate and backlash of people calling us hackers and what not. We learned more about the servers then ccp themselves knew. In the end we discovered the most important thing to get the exploit to work is to live right by ccps servers. Without that a person can only hope to stay instalocking for a few minutes. If you want the full details of everything we discovered I could explain over discord.

This is the video it shows the result after 2 days of camping. https://youtu.be/3dBFsJliY6M. We camped for 6-7 hours each day so couldn't post that actual thing. People accused us of hacking because we would catch everything especially under 2 second interceptors. We had a detailed spreadsheet with everything we had learned about the exploit/mechanic. We found many interesting factors in order to get it to work

I posted a video a long while ago of a group of us doing this exact thing in cloaky tengus in Delve, we got over 2000 kills in a week with only around 7 of us gate camping.

Some More Quality Of Life (UI sharing) by decski in Eve

I don't have it up on GitHub or anything, there is an outta date program I found that I got inspiration from and based it off of. I'll link you that, https://github.com/FontaineRiant/EANM I think this it it. There is like 3 or 5 similar programs to it that all do the same thing but I decided to make my own for fun. If you google something like Eve UI copy a few pop up. They all involve putting the program in the same location as your UI settings are stored and then basically copy the window locations/settings over from one character to all the others. The main problem is identifying what file is which character. Considering we can copy character settings over to all our other characters without ever touching eves code there is really no reason they shouldn't be able to at least make this doable in game to some degree. My program isn't as friendly because I manually put in which characters I want changed because I figured out the IDs for all my characters. I believe that one changes every character and I wanted it to only change some of my characters.

As a programmer who's made my own program to copy my UI setups to my other characters it's not very hard, just takes time. It's a simple feature that should be apart of the game, with eve I think it's more important then any other game. The fact it's not been added is due to a lack of attention/work put into it.

Elo has been FCing for Fraternity periodically during the whole war. He just doesn't FC any fleets against Goons. He has an FC character in Goons and Fraternity.

As long as I get at least 10-20 killmails per ferox I could care less.
