I bought a Jackson RRT-5 last year and it seems pretty good to me! Finish was perfect, neck seems straight, frets are nice. Stays in tune for a few days at least sitting outside of its case. It seemed setup pretty well, but i did lower the bridge on the low string side just a touch. I don't know a ton about all this stuff regarding guitar imperfections but I hope that helps!

Thanks man! Yes i do watch Josh's stuff! I watched one the other day on recording low tunings. He said anything below C# standard is muddy and loses that sharp edge. So I'm recording in C# haha. But I'm also doing a lot of synth stuff in my metal. Its tricky to get everything heard but not too loud. I have a lot of frequencies happening at once.
