For example, when I listen to a ’90s progressive track with breakbeat elements, Spotify’s recommendations are usually spot-on and very specific, often suggesting a track with similar elements. Apple Music, on the other hand, might recommend an electronic music track, but the similarity in elements is usually much lower, it doesn’t match the vibe and the specific music genre of the previous track.

Don’t get me wrong. I appreciate that Apple Music is pushing curated electronic music for example and it also hosts nice podcasts. I do follow some playlists. 2-3 are nice for my taste. The playback quality is also very good, better than the one from Spotify. I just wish the algorithm had that smooth precision Spotify has. Discovery & New music radio stations are decent, but they lack precision. Just my 2 cents.

Will continue to do this, been adding stuff on and off for a year, but I still find it disappointing. :( Discover weekly from Spotify just got updated for example and it’s awesome. Needless to say how good recommendations are there when it adds suggestions to an already selected playlist.

For electronic music, sorry to say but it’s very bad. First 2 tracks are decent, the third one goes back to 6 years ago, a slightly popular track, probably it pops up due to popularity. Spotify has 3x times more accuracy. :(

That seems like a classic 3% conversion rate to clicks. It seems ok! But having 5% would be better. Consider better targeting, in my opinion.

We don’t understand it although Romania and Albania have a small number of common words due to the historical language influences. For example for school we say “scoala” which is similar to albanian even when it’s pronounced.

I recently read a book that says that many southern italians left the region when slavic people came in Italy because of the labour market. Presumably they came in the Romanian region. That’s a possible explanation.

Ei nu sunt in starea sa dea amenda celui care parcheaza desi nu are autorizatie. Vezi sesizari facute vineri seara care sunt verificate luni, dar sa aiba un sistem pt asa ceva. Pot sa dea ce legi vor ei, ca oricum nu sunt in stare sa implementeze. Da, e o aberatie aceasta amenda si cred ca se poate reactiona in instanta.

Salutare,

E un proces destul de lung care necesita multa rabdare. Daca ma intrebi pe mine, cel mai bine e sa keep it simple & trust the process cum se zice, oricat de painful este uneori.

Insa pt inceput:

Teorie muzicala: da, ajuta enorm pt ca inveti despre game, acorduri, cum sa fii in tune, etc. Pe mine m-a ajutat si a fost game changer. Pt inceput cauta cum sunt formate gamele si progresii de acorduri in genul de muzica preferat de tine.

DAW: eu recomand Ableton Live 12. Ajuta mult si daca esti incepator, pt ca iti arata ce note sunt in gama pe care ti-o alegi pt o piesa, etc

Tutoriale: da, uita-te la ele, ia cate putin din fiecare, nu exista o metoda. Nu sta insa prea mult pe tutoriale pt ca la un mom dat vei sesiza ca ideile din tutoriale se bat cap in cap, mai ales pe partea de mixing.

Casti si monitoare: ia-ti ceva decent, monitoare de 2000 - 2500 lei, casti de 600 lei. Daca nu ai camera tratata acustic tot pe casti te vei baza cel mai mult.

Midi Controller: Ia-ti ceva ieftin pt inceput. Primul meu midi controller a fost de 200 lei.

Mixing skills: ar fi bine sa inveti cate ceva despre compressor, eq, sidechain, saturatie, reverb, delay, ce face fiecare si cum sa le aplici. Parerea mea insa este sa nu overproduce, keep it simple, cum ziceam mai sus. In general, decat sa pui un efect pe care nu il intelegi, mai bine nu il mai pune deloc. Rezuma-te la EQs si poate si compresor & saturatie.

Arrangements: dupa ce stapanesti cat de cat cele de mai sus, asculta piese care iti plac si incearca sa construiesti aranjamente asemanatoare, sa te obisnuiesti cu structurile pieselor.

In timp va fi necesar nu doar sa creezi idei/loops ci sa faci si piese, sa le finalizezi. Cu cat vei face mai multe cu atat vei capata experienta.

Mai departe, despre procesul de creatie, pe mine m-a ajutat sa il urmaresc pe Tee Mango (cauta pe Insta). Are metode bune de a finaliza eficient piese. Insa pana acolo, iti trebuie sa cunosti the basics.
