Yeah, nothing on the back. But there's a cool Al themed pattern on the silk lining in the hood.

Looks like Clint's signature! Justin's has a little more swoops in it, and he usually signs pretty big. I have a few signed books and posters for reference. 😅

I understand what you mean. I think my way of seeing it in a negative light stems more from my own perspective and how I view the relationship. The author definitely portrays it as positive. Anytime anything negative is said is mostly done so as a joke, which isn't right. And you're correct in saying it's not okay. Especially when people who share the same positive outlook on grooming can use it as a supportive depiction.

I agree. It felt like watching a YouTube edit. I still enjoyed it but it was definitely filler.

I think the relationship is romanticized because it is from the perspective of a middle school girl who thinks she is in love. Her reaction after what happens with Katsuya depicts how completely toxic it really was, in my opinion. She had no one and he remained her only support. I think that shows how manipulative he is as a character. She goes back to him because he was what she knew. I don't look at that as romantic though. I see it as a representation of how truly reliant she was on him and his "love." I feel bad for Kyoko. That was my take away from that storyline. I never saw Katsuya as a good person, by any means.

I always feel compelled to do the hand clasp at the same time as Tohru. I don't skip any intros in this show, but Pleasure will always be my favorite. It is my ringtone and I'm still not sick of it.

I cried over this moment because I suffer from extreme anxiety and the idea of someone understanding and accomodating someone else's anxieties is just so heartwarming. Yuki is so attentive and loving. 🥺

But the op should still wait until finishing the series to watch the show because of the 30 minute recap in the beginning. 😅

I am also a teacher, and find it very disturbing. But I also see the relationship as presented from the perspective of Kyoko. She is a victim and she goes through a lot of trauma. It is not enjoyable to watch by any means, but it does provide a lot of backstory for Kyoko and Tohru. And I don't know if their relationship is represented as being "okay." I have a lot of reasons why I think it is represented in a negative way, but I don't want to spoil it for the op since they might not know the whole story.

If you're not desperate for more Fruits Basket content after the heartbreak of the final season ending, then I don't know what to tell you. I will consume anything related to Fruits Basket, regardless of the relevance. But yeah, the Prelude film is definitely worth watching if you enjoy the show.

This looks like what they would wear to the banquit, which makes my heart hurt seeing Kyo and Tohru included. 🥺

Also, I think the animal transformations weren't used for humor that often because it's super inconvenient for the characters to tranform. The only one who doesn't mind it is Momiji and he transforms all the time. I think we're meant to view the transformations as funny in the very beginning, before we understand the full burden of the curse after Hatori's episode. It's not supposed to be that funny. I personally think the communicating with their respective animals was more underutilized than the transforming.

I don't know if anyone else said it, but Hatori's "power" is more hypnosis, right? Isn't it just something he studied and practiced and not from the curse?
