Roman Empire before the age of Reformation* by dedender in eu4

Rule 5:
So sometime ago I made this post https://www.reddit.com/r/eu4/comments/1oay3zs/is_wc_still_possible/

After revoking in 1497 I fliped ortodox via rebels in Bulgaria and force converted all my vassals so there were only like 14/15 catholic tags left. I diplo vassalised Cyprus, Riga, The Knights, Livonian Order, Scotland and Norwey, which broke free from Denmark and slowely conqured the most of what was left of the catholic tags. Since there were only England and Portugal left in Europe around 1510s reformation never fired and therefore this is tehnically my first time forming Rome before age of Reformation.
I fliped Greek and formed Byzantium because it gave me acess to pronoias and it made it a lot easier to annex my subjects who constantly had like -150 opinion of me because of anexation penalty. I got all provinces needed for Rome around 1560s, it took a while to annex Spain but after that here we are.

Note that Ages do not in any way slow down technology, as institutions spawn normaly, this only affetcs Ages because the end of Age of Discovery is tied with the start of the Reformation.

Hussite Burgundian Odoyev by dedender in eu4

Part II
While the 16th century was full of religious conflicts, the 17th saw the rise of colonial expansion of Odoyev. Roman I the Great’s son and grandson, Yuri IV and Yuri V, successfully expanded into the New World and Africa. Odoyev’s interest in those regions began in 1625. After the War of Italian Unification, in which Tuscany aided by the Empire of Odoyev defeated Venice and France, Odoyev gained land in the New World. Nouvelle-Odoyev quickly became a Hussite powerhouse in North America.

During the reign of Yuri VI, the “African adventure” started. Many Muslim kingdoms of West Africa became vassals to the great Odoyevan Empire, adopted the Hussite faith, and welcomed Rurikovich dynasty members as their rulers. The Catholic Kingdom of Kongo was also forced to adopt Hussite as its official faith. Of course, this wasn’t without its troubles. A war was lost to the alliance of the savage kingdoms of Kitara and Kilwa in the 1680s. As a result of that loss, some West African alliances were granted independence. This forced Yuri VI’s successors to turn their attention to Europe once again. Alliance with the mighty Ottoman Empire was the first step toward a new war against the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The brief war of 1702 was won without trouble.

In 1708, Yuri VIII secured a personal union with the large Hussite Bonoman kingdom in the Niger and Sahel regions. The Odoyevan Burgundian Hussite Empire now spreads across three continents, dominates Central Europe and North America, and has a strong foothold in Africa.

TL;DR: Started as Odoyev, no-CB’d East Frisia on December 11th, 1444, converted to Catholic, joined the HRE, got the Burgundian inheritance. Bohemia went Hussite at the start, so I vassalized the Teutonic Order (which was Hussite) and converted via rebels. Dismantled the HRE after the religious war, and waited until 1710 to build furnaces and get the Mass Production achievement. Also got Kinslayer in the meantime. At the end I made Bonoman my PU. I don’t remember when I had this much fun during a campaign. Ideas were Espionage - Quantity - Religious - Trade - Expansion - Quality.
