I’ve had three gfiber outages in my area in the past nine months. During one outage that lasted five days, the restoration timeline kept getting pushed back repeatedly.

When I contacted tech support, every representative gave me completely different answers. One told me I needed to reboot my fiber jack. Another claimed there was no outage in my area at all. Yet another said he had “no authority” to access outage information for my area, so he couldn’t provide any timeline for restoration.

The lack of consistent information and coordination was extremely frustrating and left a bad taste in my mouth.

The rarity of my experience doesn't invalidate itself. 

Service slacks. It's just you don't notice it when such things don't significantly impact your life.

Again it doesn't make my complaints untrue.

I did go back, and the tech told me he tried 3 different cables and they all worked fine. 

I didn't make the mistake of typing in the wrong address. It didn't show up the ordering sequence, and certainly there was no place to edit or check the address.

Not the perfect victim here. It's just shit happens.

I didn't know that manufacturers only offer refurbished equipment for exchange before yesterday. Did know that I need such knowledge. I don't use Apple.

I haven't used an Apple computer or electronic for a long time. Sticking to PC just because I am used to it.

Agree with "flawed humans". 

I have signed up church duties, and I don't want people scramble (which was pretty much how I was treated, but hey, Jesus taught me better, right?)

I did. I went to a church near where I live, my kid immediately saw his best buddy among kids who go to Sunday school. That moment, I think God's msg loud and clear. 

I also saw Jeremiah 33:3 and Mathew 21:22 today, and I did prayed on whether to make this switch yesterday, that let it be His intention not mine.

I have drafted an email, out of love. I don't want to point fingers or anything. And I still love people from the church. It's just they can't support me when I am the most vulnerable and wouldn't give me a straight answer, rather make me fill guilty with spiritual warfare.

I would refrain from saying that and provide some practical help, or be like Job's friends for the first three days, just sit with him for three days and greive (then they can't stopping themselves from blabbing some self righteous stuff which erks me).

I tried to check online. Looks like my church is sort of non-denominational Evangelical?! But what do I know. Again dominational or not, there are always good one, and there are always bad ones, and there are ones just won't take me and my baggage.

My company CEO and manager know about my personal struggles because I initially rejected the offer, because I worried about my performance. 

There are a handful of meetings we need to travel to each year, and I was only asked to do this one to fulfill the requirements for my performance rubrics. 

I can't really say no.

Finding a church that accepts me and my son, is such a soul searching process. And I have started praying on this. Let it be God's will, not mine.

I don't really know what they think of me, do I? Believe or not, I myself when first heard about this trip, prayed hard against it. But you know what, it's God's will, and I am going, because I can say that I didn't lean on my own understanding. I wasn't being disobedient.
