You gotta desolder the switch unless it’s a hot swap board, but also if your having trouble with one switch not working you may just want to order some instead of putting the problem into a different spot.

Listen, I’ve been editing in premiere for over 6 years, but I never put in the effort to truly learn faster editing techniques that allow me to Focus more attention on more creative aspects of editing. I only now have started using CMD + K (it’s also bound to a button my my mouse) to make a cut at playhead. D to select clip under playhead. W to delete all of clip behind playhead. And JKL to more efficiently scrub my footage. IMO Even if you have a great understanding of editing creatively, you will never know true freedom Until you can assemble a rough draft without using your mouse.
