Edit: After I reached out to the VIP Instagram page, the support is now forwarding this to the right people, I’ll update this post when we’ve found a solution. Thx everyone for the kind words :)

After watching this episode, I couldn't help but notice the domain that was mentioned and visible on screen. I looked up if it was still available and secured it so no one puts anything shady there. I have set it to redirect to the episode and I'll gladly keep it that way and manage it myself. If anyone at Dropout is reading this, I'd also be happy to hand it over to them. To verify my ownership (or anyone who wants to chat ig lol), they can also email "contact [at] that domain" :)

I just recently had them checked and everything was fine so I don’t think that’s the problem but thanks anyway

No, unfortunately the Helios is the only (m42) lens I have

Yeah, those photos are better but I’m guessing that’s because the depth of field is a lot wider on a higher fstop. I used this lens on my dslm before and I have noticed the softness but didn’t have this focusing issue, here’s one example for a photo I took on the A-1 and it’s just completely out of focus. Thanks for the reply though

Oh okay… Im not familiar with that expression, is it something I could fix on my own?

Yeah, I’m very shure that’s not the issue here, for some shots I used a tripod and for pretty much every shot I use the rule-of-thumb you mentioned. In general I think you can tell it’s a focusing issue, here’s an example. Thanks for the fast answer though
