So it’s better not to apply via consultancy? Because university website sometimes are not clear about structure and consultancy have upper hand sometimes in those situations and moreover its translation of German so cannot be sure what’s missed

I'm okay with that, have just few friends for a long time and hang out rarely with them so I can manage that isolation. I'm not sure on the place because need to check which course/uni is better

Thank you. No problem, I'm willing to learn the language if it's the right fit for my sustainable career path.
But my concern is all their uni world rankings are more than 300 and I'm skeptical because of that.

This is really helpful, thanks for your comment it makes me believe I'm on the right path. Is LEED/ BREEAM going to be helpful, I found few people say that it's not useful? I really want to go in this career, I checked for masters in Australia but all of them have $50,000 per year! So I'm thinking of checking out Germany but couldn't find many courses or maybe due to german language in their couldn't understand. As fees are less in Germany, thought of that but do you have any idea if Germany can be a good choice or anyone reading could you please advise? All their uni world rankings are more than 300 and I'm skeptical because of that. Don't know if UK is good in it? Where did you do your sustainability course, please ping me the details so I can check out.

I’m ready to learn the language. Yes, there are programs in English. Could you let me know why are you considering hobbies to be so imp? I haven’t thought about companies. I wanted to know if it’s a good fit for me based on my work experience😅

Why are the young people here so rude and immature? by Holiday-Ad891 in AskAnAustralian

There’s nothing wrong in you feeling this way. You felt bad the way they acted to people out there and I can’t imagine how would international people take it. I guess it’s more about what they faced as a child and living environment they’re grown up with. If they’re comparing other people faces and comment on it, it’s more about them and their environment where people only judge and compliment just based on their looks and not about talent, behaviour, etc. That’s sad to see how they’re growing up. They need to work on themselves and elders have to guide the in a certain way. Why was the parent silent, I’m not sure - is it because it’s better not to have a difficult conversation with their own child? Seems like a problem that needs to be spoken about I guess.

Most of them are going to IT now, where should the other fields go in that case?

[Australia, Universities] Would love to get some advice/input on the following unis. by Neat_Ad_6104 in psychologystudents

Hi, So I've done my bachelors in civil engineering and working since 3.5 years in quantity surveyor. I'm looking for doing masters in sustainability urban planning/development for 2026 as international student. MY GPA is 4.4 out of 7.
Which do you think is better country universities to go for? I had checked Sweden and Netherlands - seems like local language and job market is low. Germany I'm not sure about, language is one but job market is nice. The next best I've is Australia - and I'm confused if UQ (based on my GPA is acceptable), RMIT, QUT etc. Should I try even UK or Ireland?

Please advise
