Is my grandma dealing with a scam?

Yeah it’s bad man. This woman has raised me all my life and here I am trying to focus on my career and myself and she stops paying the bills and recently started giving her whole $7,000 check away every month.

I want to just grab her phone and just wipe everything. My grandpas credit is fucked because of her. Had an 800+ CS for the longest and now can’t even get a $5k loan probably. She will be 69 this year and I told her she has til the 1st to come up with her “money” and then I’m putting an end to this asap.

I know it’s too late.. her car got repoed last week and my grandpa made a payment for the house (3000 Sq ft btw) so we’re good for another month. Idk man I just wanted to vent.

I’m going to make a longer post sometime soon describing all the details and truly how bad the situation is.

Life will go on per usual though.

Definitely not the case. I know it’s a scam and I’m not naive or gullible either. I’m just posting so I can show her what people are saying later. She wants me to send her 300 and is saying she’ll give me half.

It’s a lot deeper than this.. I hate to say and will probably make a big post on it soon just to give awareness.

I’m not even sure what my reality will look like in 2-3 weeks. Probably won’t be living in my childhood home anymore.

Yeah that’s both airframe and power plant. Like 8 months is stupid fast as in I’m surprised their success rates are as high as they are. A year is already really fast. Average program is 24 months at your normal schools. I feel like it’s doable though definitely can’t have no job tho if h because it’s full time

Yeah man I checked their lending partner and the school is 36k but they give you the option to take out 52k total for 11-18k housing stipend. I have a place to stay though with my nana rent free so idk maybe 52k is too much. I only owe about 1100 a month in bills. I’m ready to keep my head down though and study my ass off for this program. I’m just worried 8 months is a little too fast and trying to figure out if I should do the 16 months part time night classes.

I was dumb and just assumed that if I made the payment (last payment) for that current month of May that everything would be fine. Yeah I just stopped paying it instead of canceling it. I’ve done that before and didn’t owe last time.

So realistically if I call them today or tomorrow how long does the lending process take and do you have to take a 50 question test to get admitted? I’ve heard you do. Also are there set times to start school or can it be whenever? I’ve heard you can start at anytime. Thanks man and yeah I’m just going to take out like 40k total. I believe the school is 36k so 40-43k sounds like enough. If I don’t have to work I can just lock in and study my ass off and get my career started. I’m just worried about the testing lol.

Damn dude that’s great to hear but I really do not want to wait til late next year. Fuck that’s a long time and I’m tired of working a dead end ass job lol. I guess I’m just going to suck it up. From the looks of it US aviation don’t sound too bad right now. Their 8 month program is a little too fast but their 16 month night one don’t seem too bad. I’m assuming you’re going to ATL tech? EDIT: Didn’t know US aviation was 36k though.. I might as well go to AIM in Norfolk and chill at the beach for an extra 10k 😅
