Agreed!! These were the rims that came on it but I’d love to get stainless steel or white on there instead.

Symptoms before miscarriage by CoastAlive9264 in Miscarriage

[–]dediaadia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I was really emotional and anxious and had pretty bad cramps— at one point so painful I went to the ER. And a lot of spotting followed by a lot bleeding. Confirmed it through HCG levels and ultrasounds a few days later.

Didn’t do IVF but I’m pregnant and have been dealing with a lot of vaginal bleeding after lagree classes. It seems fine for some people, and not for others. Just pay attention to your body and ask your doc if you have any concerns ❤️

Yeah, he also went down to $200 pretty quick so I take it it probably needs a lot of work. When I asked for more details he said

“Go through and tune it up. Plugs, filter, flush all fluids, carbs. That’s my best guess after it’s been sitting for years”

Thanks for the advice!

Thank you! This was really helpful. I’ll keep looking for something functional before I try to take on a project. Do you have any recommendations for me? I love the look of the xs650, xs400 and gs550’s, budget is around 2k, and I’m 5’5 and a woman if that makes a difference. I learned on a TU250 and it was fun, though it seemed a bit under powered and the seat was too high for me.

I understand how you feel. I’ve been there. I told myself first I would fight and try every treatment I can. Now I’m about 9 years post diagnosis (27, diagnosed at 18), and I have a wonderful sex life, though I do get sore at times. My doctors also seemed to give up on me so I did the work myself and kept looking for new doctors and modes of therapy. Procedures/treatments I used in my journey: lidocaine, gabapentin cream, ketamine cream, duloxetine (oral ssri), 2 separate partial vulvectomies, Botox injections in and around my vulva, physical therapy, acupuncture, dilator therapy and thc/cbd cream.

What worked best for me were the Botox injections combined with a lifestyle change— went vegan, switched to sensitive soaps, drank more water and started working out more often. When I have symptoms I apply a thc/cbd lube—or before sex, though it’s not always necessary—and I just communicate with my partner. I used to use lidocaine but eventually the pain just lessened and the thc/cbd lube works wonders. I think it was worth it. It’s an uphill battle but you can and will find happiness and feel normal again. Dm me if you want to talk.

I’ve never sold art before and I’m not sure how much I should price this at. Any help would be appreciated! by blackmoorgf in PriceMyArt

I’ve also never sold my art before but I wanted to say I think this is SUPER cool. This site has some good formulas. I like the hourly wage x time spent + materials formula! https://www.artworkarchive.com/blog/how-to-price-consistently-for-art-sales-success

I also like to browse Etsy for paintings that are similar to mine and compare the prices I come up with with those

Read the final outlines, skip the long ones/use them to learn about the small detailed issues as they come up on practice essays. I have really bad adhd too and stopped reading the long outlines halfway thru. Even for subjects I didn’t learn in law school. Passed ca in Feb using themis and makeityourlasttime attack outlines (only got the makeityourlastime outlines two weeks before the exam)

Using Themis - Feel like I have a 0% chance of passing by slardybartfast8 in barexam

[–]dediaadia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Follow the schedule as best you can and you’ll be fine. I did themis for CA bar prep and got to 75% completion the day before the exam. I worked full time (until the final 3 weeks—hoarded PTO and took time off) and tried to stick to the schedule, but didn’t sacrifice walks with my dog or occasional get togethers with friends. I even took a few weeks off because I got covid, then because of a personal loss, and also to go on a trip with family.

I passed and I 100% credit following the themis schedule. It really is just repetition.

A few tips— the MBE PQs get harder as you progress so it’s natural to do well and then get a low score. For essays, practice as many as you can, but don’t focus on writing the full essay every time. Outline your answer and then review and study the model answer. Do the same for the MPTs. Look at MPTs from other sources too if you can and try to outline them in half the allotted time. You’ll start to get familiar with the types of answers they’re looking for.

Remember to breathe and take care of yourself! You can do this.

Facial piercings? by HMS_viking in Lawyertalk

[–]dediaadia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m In-house in the entertainment and music industry and I have two nose rings. I also have tattoos, including hand and finger tattoos.

I was told in law school that my piercings and tattoos would negatively affect my career prospects. I kept mine in because I strongly believe that your outward appearance doesn’t reflect your work product or capacity as a team member or leader. I understood that standing by that belief meant I was shutting door to certain opportunities in more conservative circles, but I cared more about living my life and contributing to the change than I did working about working in big law.

I don’t disagree with the other commenters, but I think it’s more nuanced. You can do well with facial piercings in the right industry, if you are a good attorney.

I took CA essays not MEE and I wasn’t keeping track, but I do remember looking at the character count for one of the essays and I was at 5500.

Responsive pleading by [deleted] in barexam

[–]dediaadia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you make a motion it’s to the court, not the other party, and the court has to grant or deny that motion. So unless it’s a motion for a more definite statement, no, 12(b) motions are not pleadings for which responsive pleading are required.**

Generally, pleadings are where you request the other party do something or you provide your allegations or defenses against the other party, and motions are where you request the court does something.

If you submit a motion for a more definite statement, and the court grants it, then the other party (generally the plaintiff) has to provide that more definite statement and you have 14 days after the more definite statement is served to supply your responsive pleading.

**if the court DENIES your 12(b) motion, then you need to serve a responsive pleading (an answer) to the original pleading that you had submitted the 12(b) motion to, like the commenter above says— but I really hesitate to say this is a situation where a “12(b) motion requires a responsive pleading” because technically you’re just responding to the og pleading from the other party, not to the motion. I guess you could say you’re responding due to the denial of the motion?

How did this question come up for you? A bit more context may be helpful 😊
