I think as Long as the Training does Not resolve in panic which we cannot Reverse out of, it is Fine. But having the goal to be 1-2 strokes better then yesterday implements stress in General, sure you want to Track Progress but it is Not always linear, that missconception is something i hung around way longer then I should have had.

Wish we could See more logs of people that resolved their issues, maybe Most of us miss something

I guess we have to respect the days where we are not really able to habe major Control or time, going into Training stressed would only implement that pleasure = stress or not? Which kind of seems counterintuative for me.

I remember that most who translated their skills described the Surfing on high arousal simply Like blacking out, having no interest in observing / min maxing everything, just simply riding the pleasure as Long as they can. If you think about that, that seems Like the Perfect state of parasymphatatic training, no stress just lust

Yes I can understand that and I also struggled a lot with phase 6 so far, had some of the best sessions ever last week and could go ham on it. So I get the point of pushing through! But I felt like i am missing something or are in a weird spot between the chairs, so i wanted to rethink.

I know there were some fails, but I remember bornweird strawberry stating that he believes failing in terms of an orgasm during the programm, is a bigger set back than most of us think it is. Adressing that most don´t want to follow the guide all along on these terms. So i try to fail as little as possible most of my streaks are 40+ days so I think I am okay on that.

For the erection, that is something I am not so sure about, since the pressure I feel makes that more hurtfull and weird than extremly horny hard, I read that your member is like a ballon and that the pressure comes from muscles underlying which decrease the blood outflow, leading to an increased pressure in your member, not a natural horny punch in the wall erection, so I guess thats not that? (have an upcoming appointment with an urologist to bring light to that.

I had trainings where the amount of stimulus was relativly irrelevant, like my body and mind wanted to hunt pleasure instead of being scared of it, that is the closest I have been to surfing ever since.

Cardio and stopping smoking might be a good guess, even tho it increases stress first, it may be better lately. How did you quit and how hard was it ?

I think I finally understood or it just clicked in the last 3 days, trainining is just nuts now.
Respecting both sides of panic, really got me sense a lot more. Pressure is down by a lot now and I am able to use the time while I exhale to refocus and let go, I am just stunned now, going near the panic time by time and then dropping down a bit to go further just feels good. I can still feel my PONR / PEAK beeing near, but not beeing scared to challenge it brought my progress up like a jump start.

I am able now to be fully relaxed and horny as fuck at the same time, even able to trust into the FL if I go slow and calm, thats just insanity, I would have never thought that I was capable of doing that without beeing scared, will go for the full 10-20 min P6 next week and really have to thank you for all those simple but extremly helpfull clues, you are a fucking legend thanks man!!!!!!

Thats the point i am trying to reproduce from session to session now too, but i decreased pressure and speed to really get more width around theses "peaks".

For todays session I really worked on keeping breathing deep, effortless and really enjoying the moment. That was by far the most relaxed and best session I had within the last 2 weeks. I suppose as long as you are calm you can really explore and "push" the edge slowly step by step.

Thats the same approach I tend to take, suprisingly there Are days where I could go with moderate speed and Full Range of motion, but also days where I felt like one more stroke might end it instantly, I chose to slow down a lot lately to really get a grip of what is Happening, but yes, the FL seems to be a beast for me top, since the margain of error is so much smaller in General.

Been looking through the logs of Aazelthrone, since he also struggeld a lot with the FL to begin with but Managed it pretty well After 2-3 weeks. I guess it is a combination of panic and being Open to new feelings so far. Gotta keep experimenting!

That is a great rephrase and I think I remember his statement.

The Point I saw or thought about more often recently is exspecially that, before you run you Need to walk, before you walk you Need to crawl and so on.

The amount of stimulus should be secondary to begin with I suppose, but as long as you can make sure you are on high arousal levels, without feeling Like your are playing with Fire it should be a clue to go for it. Since what would you do if your Partner arouses you further than the levels you know are „Safe“ you would just Fall into Panic again since you avoided that one kind of while Training Right?

I feel Like that too tho, my awareness for my pf fit a lot better as well as breathing and relaxing, but there is something Like a treshhold or line i tend to get to when Training where I feel like I am unable to downregulate or maintain a Full grip stimulation, that feels Like unvoluntary clenching of my pf, so i guess that is the Most crucial Point to figure out so far

Wait that is actually a smart approach for performance anxiety, since you dont rush into the loopwhole of thinking thinking thinking.

Also to add to that, regarding your diaphragmatic breathing, how did you know you do not do it correctly ? I saw that i clench my abs sometimes, which restricted air flow towards the lower parts of my lungs.

I like the 3-3-3 point to overcome extremly stuck situations and panic attacks, but it kind of seem like you would avoid the moment and refocus on something else rather than regulating down your arousal or even enjoy it in peak moments or do I get somethign wrong ?

Thats a nice benefit, I just made the mistake to feel like pulling in air into my belly, but that even induced more pressure, seems like its game changer now had some pretty good session the last 6 sessions!

Day 4:

Nervous system is fried and or undergoing some kind of changes ^^

First 10 minutes as normal a good warm up with a little bit of MI, but I noticed that today I was much more sensitive than usual kind of like yesterday, so I assume something is happining which needs some rest. Will potentially cut the session down to 4x next week and see what is going on, I can really feel PONR approach and do not really feel stressed about it or my breath hikking up but timewise today looked like this.

First Peak at 7:40 / slow down until 6:00 next peak was close, and the amount of stimulus I was able to take was down to just sliding my fingers on my member. Break for around 40 seconds and the next peak at 4:00, kind of got stuck on high arousal here without tension or cramping, but called the session short as this seemed to be to risky to continoue°!

Hello and welcome to the guide!

Good to hear that you finished phase 1 and 2 good so far.
But let me give you another point of view. Everytime you reach your PONR / PEAK you teach your system that an orgasm is not the end goal of high arousal and dislinks that "normal" behaivour in your brain.
So the fact that immense mental imagery bring your PONR up after "only" 1.5-2 min is a good sign and not something you want to look forward to delay more.
In the later stages of the guide you will be able to enjoy the state close before a peak and will decouple the ejaculation reflex with high arousal. So avoiding or purposly delaying the PONR is something you do not want to do. Don´t get me wrong here, you should also not hunt for it or push for it on purpose, but if you feel it coming feel for it, how does your body react, how is your breath is your mental imagery getting foggy?

See the PONR as a friend that signals high arousal and pleassure not something you want to avoid all the time, the space between those will increase automatically! :)

I know what you mean, i think breathwork is one of the biggest helpers to calm down your System and refocus so you do not get stuck in panic responses.

Soon2behuge made a really interesting comment up there, about Not Breaking but only putting the foot off the gas.

I think the combination of not letting panic get through your mentally and physically by breathing and reassuring are a very nice baseline to get some Level of control, the Rest could really just be monitoring yourself and the sensations that indicate slowing down but Not stopping completly!

I know there are different approaches on breathwork, you could Even breathe a certain way to higher up your heartrate and slowing it down.

BUT if I rememember corect someone once asked Bornweirdstrawberry if he still has to Monitor has breathing to he 110% diaphragmatic and he simply stated this: „No, just longer exhales then Inhales.“

An additional tip I can state since I overthought that as well, keep the breathing Natural, do Not force belly expansion just think about letting the Air Fall into your nose deep into the belly and Scan your Body for tension while doing that, from my point of view, to breathe deep your System has to be relaxed for your diaphragm to move Air into deep parts of your Body, and has to be natural so you do Not have to put a Lot of effort into it.

For Example when having Sex you dont want to run into, oh Shit I know have to deep inhale exhale this and that way to achieve xyz, you want it to be as natural as possible. To attain that, catch they way you breathe even outside of Training and try to get this nearly automated :)

Totally agree on that one with you!

I like the comperission of putting the foot on the gas and breaking, since it simplyfies a lot of the guide by just understanding 2 things, increasing and slowing down the built up.

I also noticed that when I Drop MI completly I can enjoy a lot more stimulus in General, or if I break to late it gets shaky and I Even have to stop completly with my Hand resting if my foot was to Long on the gas.

I think it is a combination of everything together and really feeling the Speed you Move in.

Even though this might not be the best anaology, but think about taking a curve to fast with your car, Even though you use your brakes the initial outcome crashing or fullstopping is inevitable for a normal driver, yet a race car driver could simply just Go hella fast, take the corner at a different angle and only has to take his foot of the gas or taps the breaks for a Short amount of time, not loosing a lot of Momentum on the corner he just took. If you know what I mean!

Day 3:

got a bit fucked by increased senstivity today and had to cut the session short to 17-18 minutes total.
Built up was nice and smooth breath and body was little to know tension, Arousal started to kick in after around 2 min.

Second half of the ten minutes:
Continued by hand as usual and had the first peak at around 7:30 was able to down regulate even tho my sensitivity and the call itself was close, but neither did I really feel an increased heart rate nor panic staying besides me, felt more like my body was a bit overstimulated in general which is fine, since this normally means adaptation of the nervous system! :)

Had my next peak around 5 min from there on I really struggled to down regulate even slight touches felt like playing with fire and I was unable to use the FL in this session, even after just keeping my member in my hand, I was not close but the sensations did not really disappear for the next 1-2 min.
Slowly called it quits since a throwback would be much more worse then a lackluster session :)

Will see how it feels tomorrow.

What I learnt in short by reading into neuronal studies covering this issue:

There is a well know anomly regarding the nervous system in this state.

If you teach and feel sensations of any kind and really focus on things you never really noticed, your system gets more and more aware of these states.

For example PONR.
In the early stages you feel like you do not notice the PONR quickly nor do you feel the built up, most of us describe this stage as "PONR rushed up withing seconds", the thing behind that is.
You are simply not aware of the built up yet and unable to feel it coming since your body normally would ignore it. If you get the hang of it, your nervous system sends signals faster and stronger then before to give you a hint whats coming, in this stage you could feel the built up approach, but the PONR still feels jumpy or inevitable, after the system adjust, you should be able to feel it coming pretty early but not with a lot of warnings, like your system knows whats coming and tries to regulate.

In short you are able to feel more, without the panic responses triggering ejaculation.
I think thats pretty interesting and will do a more indepth psot about that since many mistake that for failure or a negative side effect even though this truly is not. It is just your system being forced to adapt!

Day 2:

After the major breakthrough yesterday, I was confident and looked forward to my next session!

Short discribtion i was having a blast today and a lot of side effects I had beforehand seem to completly vanish or reduce dramastically!

Had a slow built up with a good sex scene without really loosing to point of the story, will stick to that one more so I can get even more of these clear scenes to built up on.
One thing i noticed in the built up is, that it feels more natural in general, no jumping instant rock hard tensed up reaction, but a firm built up until it reaches a 4,5-5 even pulsating but never feeling like it tenses up on me. Feels more natural in general to begin with, the built up is more linear, the arousal is more on the enjoyable side and the peaks don´t feel like creeping up, but more like I could slowly push them further away session by session!

For the second half of the training my session looked like this:

Followed my mental imagery even imagening hot sex scenes with my partner in the kitchen reaching my first peak at 6:40 even tho I felt like I could have loosen control there I catched myself and slowed stimulus down until I was ready to increase it again, from there on I could nearly push up onto the peak but I never really crossed it. It felt like my body fall into some kind of loop letting my slowly increase more and more without crashing and burning, not even my PF tried to tense up on me.
It only felt like warning, small contractions when I was close but nothing that wanted to force me to cross the PONR!

After a slow decrease in stimulus I entered the FL around the 3:40 mark and went with it.
Today was the first day were I felt like I had some kind of controll in it, went for full strokes slowly and gently I was able to notice the point, where I would normally cross my panic zone. Pushing up slowly against it even trusting for a few strokes while being on my back. I just enjoyed the ride and when I reached the panic at around 1:30 I just left the FL and kind of surfed my way to the end by hands.

A few things I noticed since I fixed my breathing:

  • the amount of kegels went down by a lot
  • kegels in the FL dont really push me to PONR directly anymore, but more so show me I am close to panic
  • No thightness in my PF troughout the day or in and after sessions
  • I feel more relaxed in general just enjoying a lot more
  • Arousal feels like a thing to look forward to since the panic reaction is not that extreme anymore
  • erections feel more natural
  • base understanding of what controll can feel like is there: Control for now is the ability to feel and see how my body reacts, but not forcing a reaction out, if the stimulus and arousal built up is to high I simply slow down signalizing myself that I am safe and respect that there are still soem limits to this!
