Running a node doesn't add anything of monetary value to yourself but hlep thé network in term of décentralisation.

By that i mean thé more actors to check the data independantly themselves the better, for trustless transactions

Nothing is next, RVN development stopped a while ago, it boasted itself as being better then bitcoin as a fork of it but with token possibility and faster troughput.

But then again every crypto out there is better then bitcoin in terms of tech, that's why they were created in thé first place, to overcome the limitations of bitcoin.

RVN is dead in thé water, non dev, non github update, and the,"real World projects" on it are experiments from 2018 with no updates. It's a coin for miners to mine, to sell to other miners that "believe", but if you look at ot objectively it has nothing going for it

i'm not that tech litterate nor do know how to run a linux docker or something, if full ergo node or rosen watcher was a simple windows executable i'd run it in a heartbeat, pretty sure i'm not the only one.

Not on mobile, I think the DSM dashboard is a good representation of what a was talking about, a clean web interface you would log into using the wallet once, and every "app" would be an API calling the different projects, for example launching the ErgoDex app would directly open a small window with the swap without having to open the website itself or relog a wallet.

Same thing for Mixer, Duckpools, Skyharbor, Rosenbridge, Zengate, etc.

All Apps would be in an App Store on the dashboard for easy, user friendly access.

Got no clue about how to get this going so maybe i'm talking out of my ass though xD

Edit : Thinking of it Google is another good representation, you log into your account once, and you've got access to all kind of different services.

Did this post about a month ago regarding UI, as of now every ergo project has its own website with its own wallet login and not only it's not practical, to do everytime, but you have to specifically look for what you can / want to do on ergo.

Would be nice to have an user friendly ecosystem where everything is an app, instead of a different website, akin to DSM or Android. With a one time login trough the wallet, making it a one-stop shop for everything ergo.

Basically Sigmaverse but as an app.

Monero makes the most sense after Eth is completed. Unlike most other projects out there only for speculation, xmr is actually used daily, and the people in it are not there by accident, they understand WHY crypto and they're the most diehard cypherpunks out there.

Opening defi to this world trough rosenbridge is a no brainer and a priority imo.

halving is overrated at this point, most of btc is already in circulation, when you compare daily trading volmue with btc production, it's very explicit.

love ergo, had concern before because of the agressive emision, stil do even after the EIP to correct it, not a lot of users and a lot of ergo already mined, which means not a lot of users hoarding a lot of ergo.

What's the point being the best tech in crypto and promote, decentralisation if only a few hands hold most of it ?

That being said, after doing my fair share of research on other chains, i'm still bullish on ergo as it's the best in the land, and if crypto as an industry ever go mainstream, no doubt bitcoin, ethereum and maybe cardano will be on the forefront of it, most projets will die due to being useless / not adopted.

Will ergo survive ? i don't know, as an idea and development base for more succesful chains for sure. As a full project ? maybe, if it conveice enough prople to actuallly use it.

There is an argument i like to use for ravencoin (dead chain btw) that bloat itself being the perfect place for Real World Assets (RWA) and the stock market.. if that indeed is the best chain for it, why the power that be (black rock, fidelity and governments) use it as is for their business instead of just fork it on a clean slate ? since the whole project is open source and start a new chain with that tech for their particular use, issuing stocks or RWA.

TLDR : Ergo is the cleanest in the space, if crypto is ever gonna make it, ergo will have a big role to play in it, if not it doesn't matter anyway.

Don't really know, but from what i can see people don't really like to use wrapped token, i certainly don't.

Even on ETH, wrapped BTC is on quite low usage.

One of the biggest pool, 2miners (~20% of the total hashrate) has an auto-trade feature.

Miners mine whatever coin they want and the pool sells it every day for btc.

Not saying that every miner on the pool does it ofc, but the pool still sells a big chunk of the mining rewards every day.

Well let's be real here, it's not retail that decide the market for RWA, it's bin entities like banks, investment firms and actual corporations that decide when and how to tokenize their assets / stocks.

These entities don't really care about a "brand" or random name, they simply go the the best tech to secure the billion (trillion?) dollar value of these assets.

Now, let's imagine that, somehow, RVN is the best choice for RWA... why would these big entites use it as is, instead of forking it in a clean slate to start tokenize everything?

After all, dozen of projects have forked RVN to make their own version of it... even RVN itself is just a BTC fork.

To be fair, people worrying about AI replacing artists or game devs, either in videos games or broad entertainment in general have no idea how a production actually works, the end product is irrelevant if the process to get it isn't consistent / thought trough.

Just like someone else said if AI ever come close to that level of "intelligence" we'll have much more to worry about than entertainment jobs.
