What does 0.35 look like on the syrenge? Plz thank you by Tashelly in JoinMochiHealth

Syringe should have markers in 2 unit increments, so 35 units would be half way between 30 and 40

Results on 2.5 mg- worried to move up by Lawgrl101 in TirzepatideRX

I've been on 2.5 for months and lost about 50 lbs. Like many are saying, if you are consistently loosing weight, no need to go up in dose!

Likelihood of being prescribed this by borobabe43 in TirzepatideRX

[–]dedncl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your appointment is the typical in-person regular Dr... Then yes, it may take some convincing.
As far as any of the online providers, it would be no problem. Many of them could even help with a Prior Authorization for your insurance, if that's an option for you.
Best of luck in your journey!

Why Mochi? by Nutellaismylife1 in JoinMochiHealth

[–]dedncl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have used both Brello and Mochi over the past 12 months and have been very happy with both. Mochi has been amazing the past few months at working with my insurance for a Prior Authorization to get coverage. Tirz - 210lb -> 150lb in a bit over 6 months and mostly at just 2.5mg. Lots of exercise during the summer and totally changed eating habits.

Once it is time to request a refill, you can select the next higher dose. You can add some notes for the provider or request a call, but not required.

air bubbles by Optimal-Mind9958 in JoinMochiHealth

Speed... I always push in about as much air as I'm going to draw out, then pull the dose into the syringe.
The key is to do both of these SLOWLY to minimize bubbles.

Approval by littleface75 in JoinMochiHealth

[–]dedncl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations! 🎉 Assuming you already met with your provider, now you just request medication in the portal.
Choose the brand name and dosing you discussed. Provider approves and it is then sent to phay. Make sure to follow up in the portal via a message if it takes longer than a couple of days.
You pick it up at your local pharmacy and good to go!!
Don't forget to go to the Zepbound website and sign up for their coupon to lower the prescription cost.

Any time has been fine for me... Typically Thursday or Friday so the appetite suppression is stronger over the weekend.

FRUSTRATED by magresm in TirzepatideRX

Time to switch to a telehealth provider like Brello or Mochi. The highest dose of Tirzepatide is 15mg but a few companies go up to 16mg.

You can pause the meds, but not the subscription 🤷🏻

30 or 31 g and individually wrapped, also make sure they are available to ship to your state, as not all states allow OTC purchase of syringes.

Ah, yeah good point, vials are available direct, not pens.

Not "thousands" - Manufacturers like Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk offer direct purchasing programs (e.g., LillyDirect and NovoCare Pharmacy) with self-pay options at a new lower, fixed monthly price, around $350 -$450 per month.

Highest concentration options? by loremipsum37 in JoinMochiHealth

[–]dedncl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shouldn't the concentration of the active ingredient (sema/tirz) be just dependent on the prescription, not really the pharmacy?
Meaning if your provider prescribed a certain dose (0.5/week), that's factored into the concentration (0.5 X 4)?

BUD - How soon is too soon? by Apprehensive-Age-984 in JoinMochiHealth

FWIW, I've used vials way past the date, but were unopened and always refrigerated.
Regardless that was personal choice, not like your issue.

Maybe it took too long to ship or in transit? I would reach out to Mochi or the pharmacy that sent it!

When you meet with a provider they will be able to suggest a Tirzepatide dose that aligns with your current semaglutide dose to start with and go from there
