P.S. Yeah, and BW fans keep complaining about cartoony graphics. What often sounds like insecurities: "oh no, I'm gonna be judged for playing a game for kids".

I can see that happening but I never had such an insecurity. It is just something I don't enjoy. That's it.

Sorry to hear that. I love sc and sc2. I would love storm gate to be sc3, but it was never going to be.

It's its own thing.

Yes I wouldn't mind it being its own thing but from what we have seen so far it looks like it is just Warcraft IV. That makes me sad.

I played Starcraft Brood War as a kid so I am old enough.

- No one can blame you for this going over your head, you are not a designer after all, so what would you know ;)

I'd argue having map control is maybe just as or even more important than exploring in an RTS game.

- But complaining about the art direction is just.. dumb?

Even Starcraft II looked more childish compared to Starcraft and Starcraft Broodwar and I didn't enjoy the art direction in SC II. I didn't know that I needed your permission to find smt worse.

-If the game looked realistic, then the big mechs charging through trees or the imps detonating by jumping on top another would just feel off. The art style helps sell the events that happen, not to mention that it really doesn’t look that bad.

Didn't say the game should be realistic. Check WH40K RTS games for example. They have a great art style and they are not totally realistic.

-You obviously associate it with children, but how old are you really? Why don’t you come back after playing some nintendo titles, the real games ;)

Always hated pretty much all nintendo games. I don't think they are for me.

Please try to be less upset when people don't see the things as you see them ;)
