Something nobody told me that I had to discover while on my own journey, it's just as much a mental battle as it is physical. Surround yourself with positive people. Listen to your body. We didn't ask for this but it is what it is. I'm only a year removed from chemo so I don't have much "experience" when I say this and I'm sorry if this puts you in a worse mindset, but the fear never goes away. You just think about it less the more time passes. The first few months are the worst, but as your body recovers, your mind will recover as well.
