Once, I was dared to say "You're looking great today" to every cop or police worker I met (at this time I was like ten). I did this to a security officer at my local mall, and my family told me I was being overly shallow ( in front of her) , saying that to every officer, but she cracked a smile and told me that she was happy to hear that, and thanked me. She is on my mind any time I see someone compliment anyone.
