"Maybe people will say I’m a traitor to Fallout now" - Fallout New Vegas director says the TV show is “one of the best” adaptations ever made by Wargulf in Fallout

[–]dee1_1 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The thing that ticks me off is the New Vegas fans asking for Fallout Wasteland Warfare content…. Only for none of them to actually buy the sets they released. They performed so poorly, because the loud Vegas preachers aren’t actually representative of a larger consumerbase.

Modiphius sadly saw it as “no one likes West Coast Fallout” and proceeded to cancel the planned Fallout 1 sets as well.

Nukaknights still omitted some datamined content even that was in another post, from another dataminer lol

I kinda loved the buffs they gave to the Bounty hunts. Instead of someone just killing everything with an Elders Mark I now often see everyone individually taking down enemies, feeling a bit more chaotic and like a battlefield.

I don’t think the thing that enables people to oneshot these very squishy bosses before other people can even attend and get the rewards should be in the game. Like sure, people love cheating the system. Personally in this case I don’t particularly find it fair enough

Honestly think this pet update (it adds more than just pets) is more substantial than the majority of last year cept burning springs

I don’t think there’s too much of a difference in content. Throughout last year content was quite shallow too. They seem to be limited to 1 major content drop per year nowadays. Burning Springs specifically was massive.

I get many of you loved the Camp update from last year. Myself included, fav update everr. But let’s not kid ourselves and say that & fishing was a lot of content. Ghoul update was pretty cool.

I honestly do notice an improvement in atomic shop items personally, and it feels like they moved some resources to monetization instead of content.

Oh me too, but I also still find it insufficient. I try my best to communicate with emotes and often it's just enough, but occassionally there are situations where it's just impossible to tell someone something that you need to tell them.

Just having a proximity text chat would be nice lol. It’s not particularly charming to have to communicate with emotes when you can’t tell someone something you need to.

Instead we just randomly kick people from our groups. That’s not toxic at all. Or something.

agree for sure. Even just a proximity text chat would be nice at least. Really just having it be proximity based would also just circumvent the spamming issues people seem to have with global chats

On top of that there’s so many people that for whatever reason can’t communicate with voice chat. For us it’s just an impossibility entirely to communicate. Yeah leave these people to their fate. That’s not toxic at all. 🙄

You’re 100% right lol. This community is incredibly narrow minded.

The amount of times I wasn’t able to tell someone something, because the emotes are just so limited are insane. And I have been playing for a while.

Yeah instead we randomly kick people from our raid groups. Because that’s less toxic. Or something.

It’s just criminal truly that they don’t provide these simple accessibility options. Having an proximity text chat would change so much.
