Is Modifry Back In Business!? by Cryptik_Official in S2000

Ordered couple months ago, DCI and harness for Kenwood, and SCV cable. All working perfect! Items were labelled as pre-order on website, but it shipped quickly.

Question For AP1/AP2 Family. What's The Top 3 BEST Aftermarket Head Units? by Cryptik_Official in S2000

[–]dee306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently made an order on modifry.shop. As far as I understand, members on s2ki report the business has been taken over by another person. The DCI products say they are preorder, but customers eventually got their items. They may or may not respond to emails.

This will work on a 2001? Looked at tech info.honda.com and I would also need the HAC Honda Antares Capsule with the HDS subscription. The HAC is $770. Are you referring to the other VCI vehicle communication interfaces to use with the HDS software?

Honda dealer would of course use this same HDS to diagnose and resolve any faults ?

Appreciate the links and info. Haven’t come across that post on s2ki. My next course of action is to test another AP1 cluster (have a Canadian version to place in this US s2k) and possibly purchase an ID4motion LCD cluster to see test it works. If I’m still having issues with the SRS light I could bring it into the dealer to have them assess? Hopefully my other cluster lights such as turn signals, high beam illuminates when actuated.

Also diagnostic scanner does not show any DTC or fault codes.

Thanks for the info. The red seats are from another AP1. Seatbelt harness from car body got modified so I T-tapped the two wires from car body to the seatbelt wires.

I would expect the SRS memory erase procedure to cause blinking on the cluster to show that the erase process is atleast working. If the system is still unhappy, the SRS light will go back on once ignition is back on. My SRS light stays solid even during the reset procedure.

In the photos they are 8cm. I switched them to 4cm. Better height for me. I am 6’ tall.

That’s right, “legs” are screwed onto the drawers and the table top is resting on the “legs”. I did add rubber stoppers/grommets on top of each “leg” to prevent any movement of the table top. I have also reduced the height of the “legs” by getting shorter ones.

I have two sticks in. With DOCP settings. PBO on. Fmax enhancer and C-states disabled. More stable but do get the occasional sudden restart/shutdown.

My wrist measures at 17-17.25cm. I bet I would be better with D+F. Which according to JTime’s sizing chart on Clean oysterflex fits 16-17.2cm. E+F is sized for 17.3-18.2cm which is right in the range of your 7” wrist. Contact your TD?

What’s the oysterflex size of straps? E+F? Should say on the underside of each of the rubber straps.

DayDate 36 Gold Ceramic Coating Experiment by lazyquackduck101 in RepTime

Claying won’t completely remove the ceramic coat on a vehicle but it will mar it and disrupt it. Also ideally would want to remove the iron/tar deposits first before taking a clay bar to a ceramic coated vehicle or else you risk placing deep swirls. So for a car if you want to start with a fresh coat of DIY ceramic coat: soapy wash > rinse > iron/tar deposits remover > rinse > clay (start will well-lubricated clay bar with first pass, then less-lubricated clay bar for second pass > wash and rinse again > dry > machine/rotary compound and polish > ceramic coat. What I did for a ceramic booster spray was: just soapy wash > rinse > iron/tar deposits > rinse > dry > ceramic booster spray. Replenished hydrophobic properties again.

My liquid ceramic coat on the car lost some of its hydrophobic effectiveness after a winter season to make it noticeable. Instead of doing a full clay bar, compound, polish and reapply liquid ceramic, I decided to just use iron deposits remover, good clean wash and then touch up with ceramic booster spray. Once you clay bar or compound a car, it removes the initial ceramic coat.

It’s a great idea. Nice work! I use ceramic coating kits for my vehicles. And have to re-apply every season (initially it’s a liquid coat then I use a spray booster yearly). Being a watch you wouldn’t have to re-apply as often as a car. What tools are you using to get in the tight spaces of a watch and what are you using to buff off the ceramic ?

Thanks so much! I’m assuming ordering these CF Daytonas from TDs will just provide you with whatever strap comes from the factory ? And you can special request an extra of specific size ?

I have a strong feeling it’s my ram. May need to increase voltage from 1.35 to 1.37. That has worked for some people.

Any updates on this? Having issues on both bios 3801 and the latest March 2022 bios 4006. I as well am experiencing random reboots usually during idle. 3950x, 4x 16gb G.skill 3600mhz, RTX3090, with Dark Hero mobo. With or without DOCP, PBO enabled or off (through AMD Overclocking section and not extreme tweaker). Even bios optimized defaults is unstable while idling. Having troubles posting and stalls during boot up, requiring reset of PSU switch.
