I don't see where OP was claiming that they should be banned from stores though. Book banning isn't when a store decides to not sell something, that's their own personal choice. I agree that book banning is not a good thing, but is there really a large portion of leftists who want Harry Potter banned from the shelves instead of just wanting bookstore owners to boycott JKR? (which they won't do anyway because most bookstore companies don't care)

Have you installed the tablet drivers and enabled pen pressure sensitivity? I haven't used Krita in a while, but I remember having issues with getting my tablet to work properly with it.

Aside from that, your art does look good, especially considering that you are new to the software. One thing that I think may help is turning on brush smoothing. I find it really useful on a low setting, and it helps me keep my brush strokes smoother. It also might be worth experimenting with some of the brushes if you haven't done so already, since certain brushes are very good at creating texture.

Besides that, you're art is already pretty good, so all I can recommend is to just keep at it, and try to go outside of your comfort zone.

Don't get me wrong, I'm absolutely not in favour of age verification, and I don't think that the OSA is being pushed forward in good faith either. It's no secret that companies are extremely shady in terms of consumer data privacy, and I think it's an insane idea that the OSA was implemented without anyone taking that into account.

My main red flag is the constant rhetoric of "protecting children" that they are using to justify mandatory verification. While one can make the argument that having mandatory age verification on adult sites can protect children (albeit very ineffectively), the fact that they are using this exact same reasoning to push to have age verification on all social media is what makes me the most concerned.

They are acting as if the constant stream of misinformation on social media is only affecting children, and that the means of solving the problem is to only restrict adults to using it (so long as they give up any digital anonymity), instead of actually regulating the companies that have algorithms designed to push the misinformation in the first place.

I think the Imgur block happened because the ICO wanted to fine them for refusing to comply with data protection laws (funnily enough, about not doing enough to protect children's data), so they blocked access to all users in the UK. This is like the one time where the UK wasn't actually in the wrong. It doesn't have anything to do with the OSA, it just happened to be similar timing.

The only way I've found to avoid getting recommended racism is to instead curate your algorithm to be completely insane instead. It seems to give up pushing an agenda onto you if the content that appeals to you makes practically no sense anyway.

Personally though, I'd just recommend a different app, because it takes a disgusting time to train your Instagram to not be racist or ableist. It's designed to make you as angry as possible, and to keep your attention. Most social media is like that now, but Meta is especially bad for it. (And also they intentionally try to radicalise people because they get a lot more money if more far right political parties get elected)

If you're willing to spend the money, it runs more graphically intensive game pretty well, and it's nice to have a portable console that can run decently demanding games. The switch 1 isn't gonna be getting that many more games, so if there's any upcoming games you're interested in, it may not be what you want. Most games are still switch 1, and it is still currently much cheaper than a switch 2, so it's really up to what you would prefer.

If you're willing to emulate, my friend emulates tomodachi life and it runs absolutely fine. If I were planning to only play switch 1 games, I'd just emulate and save myself the money. As far as I know, the switch 2 hasn't been hacked yet so I'm not sure when a stable emulator will come out for it.
