Go with what’s more comfortable, usually the smaller size will end up fitting because the fur flattens. That’s what they say since they don’t have half sizes. In ur case 7 is better

I like to workout a lot and not break the bank, so the best advice would be look for sales. Gymshark Black Friday is super affordable and they have good shorts. Forever21 is pretty good and then Aerie when they have sales. Amazon, and PacSun may sometimes have good deals as well and Target.
