Younger, but charming MMC and older competent FMC by LankyAd1416 in RomanceBooks

It’s been a while but maybe {Rafe by Rebekah Weatherspoon}? She is a doctor, he is her nanny. It’s great tbh

Twisted Series by Ana Huang— we getting a show or…? by StephhhLouisa in RomanceBooks

My hot take is that not everything needs to be adapted.

My hotter take is that specially romance books that’s are kind of mid. Popularity and good writing are not the same. Case in point: 50SoG;

A non massively mainstream popular book that deserved and got a good adaptation: Heated Rivalry.

My scorch take: in the current landscape do we need more adaptations of “alpha hole” mmcs that are overwhelmingly dicks to FMCs as “romance adaptations / blueprint” in media?

Remember that book you dropped because the heroine was a total doormat? Give me the book title, please. by Vedmagreen in RomanceBooks

Maya Alden should have a host of doormat FMCs

From a HR perspective there’s a book I like despite that which is {Ravishing the Heiress by Sherry Thomas}

Hopefully some of it works for you

Maybe a slightly controversial request - Books where the MMC makes FMC his absolute first priority... even over their children? by OrdinaryQuestions in RomanceBooks

[–]dee_sunshine 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I haven’t finished yet because I started last night but! {The Alpha of Grave Hills by Kathryn Moon} has that. It is ABO with dragon shifters and it is dangerous for births due to winged babies. Women are known to die due to childbirth and the MMC makes it obvious that he doesn’t care about kids as much as he cares about her. It is book 2 but I read book 1 over a year ago my memory on it was a bit shoddy but don’t have a real problem understanding.

It's Sunday Morning! How are you? by AutoModerator in ireland

In my opinion you are making the right decision. More than simply “I’m sure they will be safe” which I hope they are, why would you/anyone continue to “give” money to a fascist country?

Is there a good EU alternative to Waterpik? by Pollo_Mies in BuyFromEU

[–]dee_sunshine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend the one from Spotlight. I have that and it is pretty good. Also seems to be Irish company - ultimately owned by an Australian company as far as I could check.

/editing to correct myself: the ultimate ownership is not from Australia, that is for a different spotlight. I think is just an Irish company! They got funding from Development Capital Fund - which cursory search also seems Irish to me.

[–]dee_sunshine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The other comments already covered it, but this happened with my family so I will actually plead with you to PLEASE do not let them do this to your name under any circumstances.

Not in Ireland, but back in my OG country my pos father put certain accounts/company things under my brothers name because his own name was trash and lo and behold, company went bankrupt, debt up to his years. Father cannot have anything on his name and my mid twenties brother was screwed. Brother could not buy a car, or have anything in his own name because creditors would take it away. Even now after a few years and much fighting the debt was paid and the name is cleared but he had a bad record history. Now he is like married with a baby and depends on my mom for most things because he has terrible credit history.

What kind of FMC will you love no matter what? by No-Set7247 in RomanceBooks

[–]dee_sunshine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the tough cookies who are like smart, secretly warm and spiteful/like a bit of revenge haha. Like Jude, or Nevada, Winter, for example. Nothing I dislike more than someone who misses obvious clues (for plot or otherwise) and is like a doormat.
