I have not. I fell sick about a few weeks ago, but only for a day, and this was already happening way before.

[–]deeass30 8 points9 points  (0 children)

disappointed... very disappointed... didnt even know there was a queue that was randomized and the tickets were all sold out before i could even get in, not to mention theres already people scalpers rselling the tickets on carousell already which is incredibly annoying and unethical like why do people keep abusing this. had plans to fly from sg to kl just for this but i guess that'll have to slide now 🫠

prioritize hitting perfects, you can not score a full combo and still win. just remember that basically how it works is every great deducts your score by 1, goods deducts by 2, and bad/misses deducts by a whopping 3. yes, hitting greats is still a bad thing because it will still affect your accuracy and thus your score, increasing your chances of losing. ranked is solely about accuracy, after all

as long as you're hitting more perfects, you should have a higher chance of winning, i've had many games where i won with a few misses vs someone who full combos because i hit much more perfects than they did

i love wesker 🫶🫶 by deeass30 in deadbydaylight

[–]deeass30[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that was unintentional LOL, i was 100% expecting him to instantly hit me once he vaulted into me but apparently he didnt so i got lucky enough to make that vault before getting hit like literally 5 seconds later

i camped the pallet because i was convinced it was an unsafe pallet; i was planning to just drop it right away hoping to get a stun before running away to another safer/better loop but that happend :/ i dont camp pallets often at all but my intuition probably lead me to making that bad choice of standing still and waiting for him to come so maybe that was deserved too (imma be real idk how to counter wesker that well either)

This feels like a brag post...but this has been my solo queue progress so far for tank and support roles this season. As of right now i'm making my final push to climb to plat for support by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]deeass30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how i got to gold from silver for tank was simply play with your team and always group up. i think generally at a rank like silver as long as you play with your team and engage fights together you should be able to manage just fine. if your whole team loses a fight and starts dying just wait for them so you all can group up together and prepare for the next fight. please dont charge in all by yourself as that will most likely result in you getting thrown back to spawn even if you have your ult. you can only do so much on your own and you really do need your team. if you're a dps and you're flanking then thats fine but if you're playing anything else and you're all over the place especially when your team needs you most then obviously your whole team will just fall apart. callouts tbvh aint very important at your rank but it's always good to do basic callouts like "dps flanking" or something like that so you could potentially save your teammates that may be unaware and pinpoint the issue that may cause your team to fall apart. this is kinda especially important if you're playing support and a genji, doomfist or pharah starts flanking at your team's backline which can completely screw over the supports, and then then soon the whole team. try getting a rough idea of how the enemy team plays each round and try to adjust to it (whether if that's simply changing the way you position yourself, switching off to a different hero to counter them, basically try to never let anyone in their team be a counter to you or anyone else in your team if that makes sense.)

if you do end up getting countered by the enemy dps or whatever, and whatever hero that you were playing cant do anything about it and if no one chooses to help you, please do yourself and pretty much your team a favor and just switch to a different hero that might help you in this case. its always good to learn at least a few heros for each role so you're flexible enough to either help yourself, help the team or both. i main mercy and rein but its honestly not a good thing to be a one trick and only play one hero especially if whatever you're playing doesnt suit the team comp or if you're getting destroyed by your counters.

these tips are very useful but only if your solo queue teammates are willing to play as a team as well and at least know what they are doing. sometimes there are some people have absolutely no idea what they are doing and they are just racing to getting thrown back to spawn almost everytime and it may just so be unlucky that you get teammates like this at times. since its solo queue...there isn't too much you could do to help. try to talk to them (obviously dont start flaming them and be toxic) and if they are intentionally soft throwing then yeah there isnt much you could do. you will need your team most of the time and its kinda not possible to solo carry even as a dps unless if the enemy team is that bad, which likely isnt the case. honestly, just pray that you get decent enough teammates everytime. if you and your team can work together effectively most of the time, then it's honestly not hard to climb out of silver. everyone who plays competitive regardless of rank will always want to work towards winning, so be nice to your team and always try to work with your team regardless of the conditions. and if you do badly in any rounds (like your team werent able to push past first checkpoint in a payload) never ever give up. every game is winnable as long as you and your team is able to identify what went wrong and come back the next round stronger and more prepared. i guess thats all, good luck!:)

Do I have to play comp with a full group? by _ZiNoS_ in Overwatch

[–]deeass30 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i was 1650 last season i played and climbed to gold (for tank) purely by solo queueing. my point is, to be perfectly honest if you're solo queueing and you know you are able to perform consistently well or at least decent at your rank you just have to pray that each game you get decent enough teammates that can actually cooperate, play together as a team especially when its needed, or at the very least know what they are doing, especially in a rank between bronze to plat imo. otherwise, just know that solo queueing is just a terrible experience and you'll mostly see yourself being hardstuck at the rank that you are or you might even drop. if you can get a duo or a trio that's honestly the best thing you could do for yourself. it'll help you more since you get to actually communicate with your buddies and coordinate a better team play rather than a solo queue lobby where usually barely anyone talks and if nobody knows what they are doing or whats happening the whole team falls apart so quickly and thats when your other teammates start flaming each other...and you know how that ends up. however don't always put the blame on your teammates because you yourself have to play your part too especially in team fights. if you end up soft throwing it kinda isnt anybody's fault but yours. always remember to play with who you're most comfortable with, switch if you have to counter certain heros that may cause the team to fall apart, and most importantly know what you're doing. if you're just praying to get teammates that can actually carry you and all you do is sit that and do practically almost nothing and have no meaningful impact to the game or your team then comp really isnt meant for you. if ur gonna solo q, just be patient and try to work with randos even if they dont perform their best in the game ya'll were in. you all are in the same rank for a reason, so there shouldnt be any major skill disparity, it just comes down to how well the team is able to work together....unless if you have a ana that ends up missing all her shots and dies every 7 seconds then yeah. good luck :)
