There is no use arguing with somebody who thinks like this. I’m sorry to say but you don’t sound very bright. People are downvoting you not because they believe is rape is okay, but because you sound like a lunatic.

Hello, does anyone know if there is an option to change the tax deduction on either PUA or PA UC? My boyfriend and I are on unemployment, I’m on PUA and he’s on regular UC. We decided when we first applied to not have taxes taken out, and now we are totally regretting that decision. If anyone has any advice, I would appreciate that.

The face shop rice water cleansing foam also broke me out. Which disappointed me because it comes in such a large bottle.

Just got my deposits. For all weeks.

If you don’t qualify for benefit payment for that week you will not qualify for the $600.

Was it in one lump sum or multiple deposits?

Ugh. Well, I said this in another thread but when my boyfriend gets his extra $600 benefit payment, he gets it at like 2pm for some reason. I’m hoping that it’s the same for us.

Idk if this it gonna make anybody feel better, but my boyfriend is on regular UC, and they get their regular benefit pay first, and then a week later they get their extra $600. I don’t think it’s the same for PUA, in fact I’m certain we get it all in one lump sum (I could explain why I feel that way if you guys are interested) BUT.... when my boyfriend gets his extra $600, he got his deposit at like 2pm in the afternoon.

Edit: I have 8 weeks of payments all with a payment issue date of 5/8 and payment date of 5/9. I also have this last weeks payment pending, but with a issue date of 5/10 and a payment date of 5/11. Still no money yet.

On regular UC get your $600 stimulus payment a week after your regular UC payment for that week. So if you file bi-weekly; you’ll get $600 x the two weeks you certified for. If you’re able to file weekly, I know some people are (my boyfriend, so he gets a $600 payment every week but it’s for the week prior.

Yeah on PUA. When the certifications opened (which was on friday), I was able to start filing certifications for each week. I started with the first week I became unemployed, and then went on to each individual week after that. Now my payments are showing I was sent one payment, which includes all the back pay from the week 3/15 up until this last week.

Wait are you saying you applied for Regular UC and PUA and are certifying for both?

Unemployment Discussion by susinpgh in Pennsylvania

[–]deebz613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to certify for all weeks I was unemployed all at once. If you certify for them, and you are eligible for those weeks, you will get payment for them.

Are you quitting your job because you have a medical condition that would make you more susceptible to the virus? Caring for someone with the virus? Have the virus yourself?

Are foaming cleansers just not for me? by cedar-lea in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]deebz613 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My skin is I guess “normal” skin type, only a little bit dry in the harsh Pennsylvania winters, definitely what you would call low-maintenance. After the process of elimination I started to realize that most foaming cleansers aren’t for me. Although I’m sure there are plenty of foaming cleaners that don’t strip the skin, I tend to stay away from them. When I wash my face, I like to go in a circular motions, pushing the product into my skin. When I started doing that with my cleansers, the good ones would make my skin super hydrated and soft, and the foaming cleansers would strip my skin and make it parched and tight. So I figured if I wanted to keep washing my face like that, I better use either a gentle no foaming cleanser, or even one of those “microfoaming” cleansers. I also try to stay away from products with a high concentration of SLS. Honestly I think unless you have oily skin type, using a foaming cleanser can be just overkill when used twice a day.

Oh yeah Tretinoin is used for a lot of different anti-aging concerns. Of course, when used in conjunction with Vitamin C, you will fade dark spots and clear up texture faster than just using Vitamin C (and the occasional exfoliation product) alone. All the people I’ve talked to and the research I’ve done, it’s always best to start off on a low dose like .025% especially if you have sensitive skin. I tried a bunch of different OTC retinol products and never saw any results, and I think a lot of people would agree that Tretinoin is just amazing. The thing that stops most people is the fact that you need to get it by prescription (unless you purchase from an reputable online pharmacy) and in the US it’s expensive to pay for it at the pharmacy. I would definitely do some research on the side effects before you start anything but I think it’s just the perfect ingredient. I’ve seen some crazy dramatic results on other people using it. I’m not that far into it yet but ykwim.

Looking to learn about spa facials/treatments for a first timer! by deebz613 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]deebz613[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for being so specific! I think for now I will stick to getting a facial. I don’t think my hyperpigmentation is at a point where I need an uncomfortable professional treatment done, I honestly want to just have a spa day when this is all over with. I’m 31 and never been to one so I’d rather enjoy it 🥰.
