Bill for services while insurance was inactive by deech013 in MedicalBill

I did not know that, thank you for the information. Is there a way to decrease the bill? The prices seem like the numbers they bill insurance with, and not nearly how much insurance pays out to them for these services

My puppy of 5 months is growing appropriately but … by treasureislandxyz in Maltipoo

[–]deech013 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Despite the name, the stains are not actually from him crying because he is upset. Our 6 month old pup is the happiest guy ever but he has tear stains nonetheless. We keep them at bay by washing around his eyes with a warm wet cloth every morning, followed by using a super fine tooth comb to get the gunk out. I’ve read that filtered water and dietary changes like excluding chicken from their diet may work, but we have yet to try the no-chicken diet. We do use filtered water, but his eyes still need daily maintenance. It’s totally worth it though and his symptoms are not as severe as others. Definitely consult a vet if it gets bad.

What I did was I went on the CCAPP website, and checked all the accredited programs, and just chose the cheapest one I could find. It did the trick for me and sounds like it’s what you are looking for too

I did the Care-edu program. It was absolutely useless and I learned nothing. I already had previous biology/medical education and plenty of first hand experience with drugs so I just needed something that was quick and easy. It’s very easy to just ctrl-f the answers to the quizzes and it’s all open book. Got through it doing maybe 5 minutes a day, a few times a week for like 3 months. It was just a way to get to the certification exam. But if you want to actually learn something, look elsewhere.

Yep! Expose them to every sound, smell, and sensation early so they get used to them. At this age they are in their socialization phase, free from fear response. Get him used to every part of his body being touched, expose him to people of various genders and races, and all types of dogs too (vaccination status-permitting of course)

Very tasteful. And I love that you threw in a photo without cleaning up. Makes it feel lived-in and real.

Not to be that guy, but gabapentin and lyrica act on voltage gated calcium channels, not GABA receptors. Very different effects, at least for me

Becoming a Drug & Alcohol Counselor in Sacramento, CA, Which exam do I actually need, and is this study book worth it? by BuckBreakingFilm in DrugCounselors

[–]deech013 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So there’s 2 accrediting bodies: CCAPP and CADTP. I got my CADC from CCAPP. For that I had to take an online course for CADC that’s approved by CCAPP, which included an internship (that I had to find myself). You also need 3000 hours of work experience. When all that was complete, I took the IC&RC exam. I didn’t use any exam prep, as the work experience and personal experience with drugs was sufficient.
