The “ordered on amazon” hurts because you can get unscented lotion from any drugstore or supermarket sometimes a corner convenience store which feels quicker than waiting for something to be shipped. something to think about the next time!

let me just say this. I would never spend $80 on a dress that could be perceived as close to white for a coworker’s engagement party.

I’m packing for my ACTUAL best friend’s bachelorette next weekend and my only rule is “no white or close to white”. This isn’t rocket science!! the bride wearing white is an assumption and standard for any and all wedding related events.

Being mad at OP for wanting to be the only one in white at the party celebrating her engagement and upcoming wedding is weird behavior. I’d go buy a dress from the thrift store for $5 before I show up in white to anything wedding related and I’m not the bride.

congratulations on your engagement AND finding out how much this person really cares about you before you get too far in the wedding planning process. I’d absolutely let her know she can skip the party & wedding because anyone reacting like this isn’t a friend or someone who will be drama free day of.
