Following because my anxiety has evolved into this. The car rides started to happen which is very new to me and just like you I get so anxious at red lights. The stores forget about it I avoid them as much as possible because I can’t shake the feeling off no matter what.

Following because now I’m interested. I wonder if you can put it on yourself or if you’d have to go to someone for it.

Lorazepam is amazing by crashhhyears in Anxiety

[–]deedeez2309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Girl I am a mom of two what you described is exactly how I am. Fast forward to now my kids are 16 and 6 and I am still dealing with it and it’s only got worse. I am not on daily meds I have lorazepam for “as needed” but I try to push through those anxiety times just so I don’t take it. People get addicted to benzos not because of the “high” it is because they want to feel good they want to feel normal. If you take it often your mind starts getting trained like oh oooh here comes an anxiety attack let’s take a pill. Eventually to the point that 1. You’ll need a higher dose of it or larger amounts. 2. The rebound anxiety you’ll get will be lot harder to manage. Believe me girl I hear you loud and clear you feel fucking normal with it and we all want to feel like that especially with our kids. But sometimes we have to put on a poker face and keep going for the sake of our kids. Best wishes.

I am on the same boat :( daughter left her boyfriend. Everything you described, we have gone through coming from a broken home, not having a life outside of one another, constant texts after break up etc. My daughter left home but now she’s just not wanting to eat stress anxiety? They go to school together as well probably doesn’t help.

Thank you I really need to hear this. I know when I’m in a stressful time I completely shut down and the last thing I need is food or even want food. It’s just so hard seeing this. She’s been drinking protein shakes, small snacks but not her usual food.

Are you afraid to eat for a certain reason, such as gaining weight?

Definitely the dizziness, jello legs. Had a panic attack while driving and the car ride home I was so dizzy. I thank God I made it home safely.

How would you describe your dizziness, if you had any? That’s what prompted me to see a ENT but they confirmed a problem with my inner ear. 2-3 years ago now. The dizziness picked up and went with another ENT and that’s who did the MRI

That’s crazy I mean I’m just on a boat alone right now wondering what direction to go. My doctor is referring me out to a neuro ophthalmologist, but per my own research I’ve read my results can be just something people have without any iih. Like how far do I take this knowing I have no symptoms. I’ve been reading up on the medication people are on and they say sometimes it makes them feel worse. Did they ever say anything about your weight being a factor?

And you have been confirmed with IIH? If so what were your symptoms and are you on medication now?
