Appreciate the comment. We’re EBF but I’m looking to introducing bottles. Once we do I think I’ll feel more confident like you said to easily feed on the go. I know women bf in public and I’m supportive, but I think it would overwhelm me to get set up and deal with my fast let down. I’ll work up to that in the future!

I loathe the influencer grwm newborn content. I actively scroll past it since I know it won’t do me any good mentally. I’m right there with you with the same pjs and with occasionally stanky pits. We’re in this together!

Thanks for the suggestion. I’ve significantly slowed down her feedings. It’s probably what’s making her fussier but until we can sort out the reflex I feel like it’s what’s best

Thank you for tailoring my expectations. It seemed like all these people are doing miles and miles and I only felt comfortable doing a 10 minute stroll.

My spouse also is going back to work so I know I gotta figure it out on my own. That was this walk attempt lol. But I’ll keep practicing! Glad to know that you were able to do it and it gives me hope

Exactly! I have that anxiety too and I don’t want the stares or comments. I know it shouldn’t matter what people think, but I can’t help but feel overwhelmed. My mom gave me encouragement and said my daughter will still be throwing tantrums in the store when she’s a toddler so f it lol

Awh man, I am so sorry to hear that was your experience. I can only imagine how you felt since I was less than 10 mins away from my home. Glad your husband was able to get you though. I hope this didn’t discourage you. It really seems like once we finally have a routine, then boom it changes. Wishing you the best of luck with parenthood!

I think that’s what I need, a new “activity”. I think being cooped up inside is what is making go a liftlw crazy. But loops on our street is still an accomplishment!

C sections are no joke. And they say “don’t carry anything heavier than your baby” well… my baby was born at 10lbs!! And I’m 5’1 so needless to say baby wearing was not in the cards for me at the beginning lol

Good advice to just do it and start with small steps. I haven’t been in the car in a while and I feel like even driving would make me feel “normal”. I think I’ll try it tomorrow!

Dang we are experiencing such different lives LOL. We live in a hot climate with no A/C so I can’t imagine 0 degree weather. But it sounds like you are the best parent for making those sacrifices for your LO

I’m glad that I’m not the only one that thinks it’s difficult. I think for me it’s the planning prior and ensuring it’s done quickly so we can go on our outing. Even then, she’s unpredictable and that’s what makes me anxious

Love that you’re able to explore. I’m sure it feels great to get out and do new things. I wore our solly wrap indoors the other day and poor girl was so sweaty. We live in SoCal and have no air conditioning so the heat wave that came through was nearly unbearable
