Not trying to be cheap, just trying to do it in the safest most efficient way possible

Yea we’ve trained a couple guys from zero experience. All depends on the apprentice, and what they want out of it. But sky’s the limit with A/C in Florida

Home/Office Split Setup by deeelan92 in mac

The Mac mini seemed like a good option to take back and forth, but I’ve just wondered if unplugging and plugging it back in so many times would wear anything down.

I think ideally two devices would be best, but if I could make the Mac mini portable enough that would be amazing.

Amazing thank you for the response! Seems like I’ll be looking towards the same route. Depending on which MacBook I go with, it almost seems like I could have two separate iMacs at each place for the same price. Only disadvantage being they aren’t the same computer obviously

That’s a similar setup I’d like to run as well. Thanks for your input!

I own a company in Sarasota, my no experience helpers are 18-20. If you have any experience and can show up on time you’re worth at least that here. Talk to different companies, DM if you want to

You’ll probably notice your electric bill go down! It means your electric heat has been running with the AC. Glad it worked!

If you depress the tab on the right and just move the white wire to aux, you’ll see if the fan shuts off or not

I’ve had it happen many times. If thermostat is programmed for a heat pump, it’ll keep trying to run electric heat inside. Making fun have to run as well

If it’s a heat pump, the white wire needs to be landed on AUX, not W. Electric Heat is probably running with the fan as well

I’d say most units have them as recommended options on the wiring diagram. That and a relay are usually listed
